Trying to understand how this isn't a duplicate.
This deal http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/36916, shows the same product, same price, starting on Dec 26 ending on Jan 16, as advertised in their catalogue. How could have it gone up if it's advertised in their catalogue? Just trying to understand as we've gotten a lot of reports as duplicate.

      • Hi Neil, it does appear so, but HN had the product advertised for $248.00 the past two days, yet this moring it is back at $228.00, although their site is now down.

i went to HN, campbelltown the otherday for the $228 deal.. but they are selling the item for $248 and not $228.

        • Did you actually try to buy it? If you look at the 1TB Samsung 2.5 and 2TB Samsung 3.5 externals threads, HN doesn't actually advertise the new lower prices in store, you have to actually check it at the register for the new price to show up.

I don't know what HN is playing at, but I seriously doubt that the prices went up for two days then back down again. Its not only the online catalogues showing 228, its the printed catalogues as well.

        • Went down to HN Campbelltown and was advised that I can have it for $228.00. The only problem was they have no stock left and won't have any until after the 18th of Jan due to Apple being away for Holidays, What the?

Anyway I grabbed the 32g from Target for $358.00, http://catalogues.target.com.au/portal/dynamiccatalogue?Cata…
