Most people may have already gotten this from this Humble Bundle

Got this when it was first announced, I enjoyed it during it's early access phases, haven't gotten an opportunity to play the storyline yet.

The Long Dark is a thoughtful, exploration-survival experience that challenges solo players to think for themselves as they explore an expansive frozen wilderness in the aftermath of a geomagnetic disaster. There are no zombies — only you, the cold, and all the threats Mother Nature can muster.

    Loved this game for years before they finally released story mode. Well worth it just for the sandbox experience alone.

      Mate, have you not heard? It is not the length that matters but rather what it can do.or you can do with it.
      Also, a wash of it once in a while I am sure would be appreciated by your wife very much so she does not have to call it dark anymore (to be nice; instead of dirty). ;-)
