Plantronics BackBeat 505 Wireless Headphones $87 (Was $118) @ Officeworks

120

Been stalking the price of this badboy using the StaticIce app - noticed the price-drop this morning. I knew I held out for a reason.

Applies to all available colours:
- White
- Green/grey
- Dark grey

Please note the price-drop does NOT apply to the Sports version of the headphones (which apparently has a sweat-proof coating).

Also applies on the eBay listing - currently only for the white version: I expect that you can stack other eBay discounts on top of this too.

Please enjoy*!

*By that, I mean the extra money you didn't get to spend. Oh and the headphones as well.

Why am i getting a "Generic Application Error" error when i try to visit that web site link.

    • Appears sorted now

    • I concur. Getting the same error.
      So very generic.

  • Anyone have these and care to share their review?

    • I do not have them. However, I've read as many reviews as there are out there, and they review quite well at their price point. Infact better than others at slightly higher RRPs.

  • Is it just me or do they really look hideous =)

I don't know 'how' hideous you look, it may be just you.

I got slightly excited… slightly. Unfortunately I am after the 'Fit' version as it is supposed to be quite good when performing some exercises such as running.

Before all the haters start hating 'why would you were headphones NOT earphones when running etc…

I have very small ear canals (I am hard of hearing, and after years of trying different ear phones, I am yet to find ones that don't keep falling). The fit version of these are one of or are the best fitting on ear headphones, and you can wash the ear cups also, which again are good for me as I do sweat a bit when exercising.

I'll keep holding off for the 'Fits' to come down.

    • correct. just hold on and wait for the FIT to drop. FIT is good for exercise. and the built is so good you can literally throw it into your bag without afraid the cable will get damaged. and the best is, the design. its not to be pushed deep into ear canal and create that horrible feel (like pressured air pushed in). they just sit there. you still can hear sounds around you. once you have this you cant wear those normal earbuds type headset anymore.

and yes FIT is impossible to falls.

i just wish there are xiaomi quality equivalent of FIT. somewhere around AUD 30….

i have my FIT for 2 years, but battery is now only around 3 hours i want more.
