I had a look to see if deals on other models were good. From the look of it they're not. Passing that information on.
Wow that is a great price. Very tempted to get this or should I go for the Sony KD75X8500E instead. What everything that think?
If you don't mind the slow boot from Sony go for that, everything else is better on the Sony…
Or look from Panasonic 75ex780 as they are clearing them and I've seen them very cheap… It is also in a different league compared to both of these (it is Panasonic's last year's top of the range LCD TV and had good reviews and possibly the very last 3D TV if that matters for you…)
How cheap have you seen the Panasonic 75ex780? The high-range Panasonic TVs are superior to LG, Samsung and Sony IMHO.
I agree with you, or at least they get my personal preference, even the ex600 looked better to me compared to the same price range from Sony and Samsung (LG is out of question since all their IPS panels are garbage, their os is nice i think)
IRC TGG had them on clearance (aka display model) for around $2800 a few weeks ago. I'v seen the 58 inch model in sub $1500 on clearance in the local TGG as well so you might be able to haggle if you're lucky. They are end of line and everyone is trying to get rid of them so YMMV. If getting a display model alway get extra warranty as you can get them for very cheap and use that as bargain tool.
The Samsung Mu6100 75” was also recently on sale for $2200 which is also a very competitive situation
The 75n5 for 1700 was the beast pricing
