      Greensborough don't have them. Tonight we purchased the last of the console only and were told they didn't have the tomb raider bundle.

      Last night I rang the city store and was told they didn't have them (though they seemed pretty clueless so not sure if that was correct).

    Probably a silly question but…

    I own 2 nVidia SHIELD TV's, they are the kings of what they do, unfortunately both have developed different issues over the 4 years I've owned them. Both getting a bit buggy, money needs to be spent to bring them back to full life (new controllers which cost a lot) and to replace them completely costs more than an Xbox One.

    So could I use the Xbox in the same way I use my Shield TV? I'd lose my Android games which is mostly for my daughter, but I'd still have Youtube and Kodi right?

      Just get the Xiaomi Mii Box if you just want Kodi, Youtube, etc.

      I have one of these and it's a noisy monster with frequent mandatory multi-gigabyte updates. Plus it's more expensive than the Xiaomi.

      Some of your Android games might even work.

        Thanks. One problem I didn't mention is heat. Upstairs where the main Shield TV is, the room gets very hot in summer which is why I believe the shield tv has finally started dying - it survived 3 other homes just fine but this it's started acting up, the unit itself not just the controller.

        Presumably Xbox still has heat issues, but the noise alone probably rules it out for our needs. Thanks.

          Yeah well it's an x86 processor with discrete graphics, and a huge power brick which also generates heat.
          It's probably better at dissipating heat than the Xiaomi box as it has active cooling, but for $70 or less, the Xiaomi will probably last long enough. No guarantee the XBONE would last longer anyway, and the power bill would add up over the years.

      For that purpose I agree, do NOT get an Xbox One just for Youtube and Kodi. Xiaomi Mi Box is one of the best, or try WeTek, Vero4K, or MECOOL devices.
