      Read Campaign is around 25-30 hours. Combine that with the fact this game is getting an average score of 9+ out of 10, I'd answer yes to your question.

      Note that this game will likely drop to about half the advertised price near the end of the year. Much like Horizon did (in fact most PS exclusives).

      Worst online review has given it 9/10

      30 Hours for main campaign
      30+ hours for side quests etc

      i got to have a short play at a gaming convention last month and i was impressed.

        Did get a few 8's but average is 94 so very high. Campaign looks to be 25 with about 15 with extras. Dev said took 43 hours to 100%

          Call me cynical, but I'm pretty confident that 6/10 review was written to get some extra hits from dissenting gamers. They followed it up with a proper one where they gave it a 9/10.

      I wouldn't trust the free shipping unless you mind waiting a long time, I pre-ordered Far Cry 5 and it took way too long for them to even ship it out, when they finally gave an estimate I cancelled it.

      The game came out 27 March and they gave me an estimate on the 4 April. The estimated delivery date was 9-11 April.

      Same thing happened to my friend who also ordered Far Cry 5.

          @AussieGargain: They throw away the codes and put a new one in. They have a deal with the destributors. They come back and it just gets a new code regardless used or not. I was told when i returned a game ages ago.

      I don't think Amazon Aus is with it, at all yet. I know in the states, they're so big they DGAF, they'll ship a day before release to ensure you get it.
      However the Aus site, not so sure.

    I wouldn’t rely on fast delivery. I ordered Far Cry 5 Gold for PS4 pre-release on 25th March, and Amazon AU’s currently estimated delivery date is 18th to 20th April.

    I tend to save heaps of money waiting it out a month or two for single player games as they fall really quick compared to multiplayer games. Plus you do not have the FOMO factor like multiplayer games. Just an opinion though.

      Yeah I like to wait a few months. Though for really popular story-driven games you run the risk of spoilers. Red dead is getting bought on day one for sure!

      Yeah, I've started doing the same once I realised I was buying games on release, and not getting around to playing them for months anyway. Meanwhile, prices drop, patches get developed and GOTY editions get released.

      Not really. It does continue the story but it is a reboot. You can probably watch a story summary on youtube and catch up that way. This is much more story heavy and set in a new world

      I can't remember the last game that had pre-order DLC or "Day One Edition" which wasn't complete rubbish and actually added something meaningful to the game.

    I bought Far cry 5 from Amazon Au on the Tuesday night of release date. right before easter. and it was delivered thursday morning. Super fast delivery, when its coming from Melbourne to Sydney! Wasn't expecting it till after easter. So was very happy.

    PS I have never liked any of the previous God of War titles.
    But i must say this one looks amazing! Only critic i listen to is me :)
    Cant wait to get this.

    This is Uncharted 2 all over again. People were skeptical about the game and the developer before release, with a 95 Metacritic score now, is it the most universally acclaimed and the highest rated PS4 exclusive game and some have even called it the game of the generation period. Prop to Sony to let the developer to experiment with the no-cut game play mechanic and congratulation to Santa Monica Studio who took the risk and possibly make one of the greatest game of all time.

        Did you guys get a notice that it was shipped? I preordered with priority delivery (I live near Sydney) and I hadn't heard anything yet so I cancelled the order and I'll pick it up from Big W or JB Hi-Fi tomorrow morning.

        A little frustrating since it specified I'd get it on Friday but then this morning it changed to say between Monday and Thursday next week.
