Not really, they're frequently this price whenever a 20% off 'sale' comes round which seems to be every 2nd day

hmm not even soundlink mark ii, I don’t consider it’s worth paying this much

    • It is the equivalent of the Soundlink Around ear II and I can't think of anything they have that this one doesn't.
They released an around ear about 6 years ago (as they AE2 Wireless, but then more recently rebranded it as Soundlink AE), so they current Around ear is series II, where this is the first "On-Ear" wireless headset, so it's the series I.

    • The around ear 2 is based off this, it's the same generation. This is the current gen.

They look like QC35's for kids

    • QC35s for non douchebags. Jjk. But kinda serious

Thanks OP, we don't get a lot of posts for the soundlink on ear so upvote from me. Love my OE2 and Soundtrue AE2 as they are so comfortable but they have a very fragile wired connection where I will experience distortion or lose sound in one earcup completely whenever I touch/ move the wire. My workaround's been to twist, unplug/ plug the 2.5mm connector back into the headset which isn't really ideal. Not sure if anyone's been experiencing this?

    • Nope my on ears lasted me 4 years with daily use of plugging/unpluggin the cable.

      • Hmm.. i must have really bad luck then because my OE2's are a brand new replacement set from a Bose boutique store and the AE2 are also a brand new replacement set from Myer. After four sets, I thought it must be their quality control. Thanks for the reply.

  • Great headphones! Recently bought Sennheiser 4.40 and much prefer the Bose.

Has been $211 at Myer for a few weeks now. Can buy now for $249 at Myer.

    • Really? I find these to be quite average.

      • Comfort is something Bose is mostly unrivaled in. Although the sound quality is average, comfort and quality wise these headphone are a big step up. My Bose Soundlinks are 4 years old, I use it daily for up to 10 hours. They are very durable and light, can easily sit around my neck when not in use, and yet block out sound adequately, and are comfortable to use all day. Not many headphones can do that at even double the price.

Having the Sennheiser for just over 2 weeks now and I wish I bought Bose again. Even turning the Sennheiser on or off is a pain lol. Let alone not being comfortable for long periods, stupid voice prompts that are super loud, and volume increment beeps…. I mean sure they sound better when I am sitting in a quiet office but that's all. If only selling used headphones was an easy thing…
