last week I bought a pizza and had coupon for $5.90 and the dude on the front counter would not accept it saying 'we do not do $5.90 pizza'. This was physical coupon presented to him from the Dominos letterbox deals.
In the end I had to look up a Pizza code from OCAU and quote that to him. It was for $5.95 pizza, so he fussed and argued with a customer over 5c. That is NOT how you run a business and is a quick way too lose customers. I sent a complaint and waiting on a reply now.

So I would say they definately wont accept this coupon..

Dont care much for the pizzas anyway, the BBQ chicken is nice but expensive.

    • Can't you just make an internet order?

Either way, just keep complaining to head office, he will get in trouble.

    • I made a complaint to head office about receiving single prawns on a double prawn order about 10 times in a row. Nothing came of it; no reply at all.

Tonight's double prawns actually came with about 1.5 prawns per piece, which is a big improvement I guess.

      • +1

This is why I never order double ingredients.

The way I see it, if there is single prawns or double, they are just going to make sure there is the required amount on there so it doesn't look bare.

If only they put the minimum amounts on their website so you could count it and bring it back within 1min of getting it.

      Thats a joke!

Thats why I always place over the internet so when I get to the store they can't do much.

      • +1

Don't be too confident ARWP :)

There have been tales of woe on OB in the past of people ordering with a code OK online,, then being sent packing when they went to collect!

Being told to pay full-price because the store wouldn't honour the code, or go away and wait for a C'card/EFT refund :(

I don't see why they would even bother to do that though. They've already made the pizza by this stage (Because the screens do not show which orders used a code) if they tell the customer to take a hike they just lose money anyway. :P

        • +1

Yep, that's right,,, but it HAS been reported to happen in the past.

          Crazy I know…

  • Yes but my iphone was taking for ever to load the Dominos app and I was on the way to the store anyway so just tried to place the order there. Gave the coupon and he refused to take it so went back to my car and found a code and told him it and he did it. I was not impressed and had a go at him. just waiting on a reply from HO with some free vouchers hopefully.
