Xiaomi ZMI 10 - cant import these anymore (Gearbest/LITB dont ship to Australia). 40w output on these.

Cygnett Chargeup Pro is a few $$'s for only a 20,000mah as opposed to this one which is a fairly big 26800mah. But the Cygnett one has 45W output.

Anker have a similar one, but almost at double the price of this one.

  • "Cant import Xiaomi ZMI's" - more info?

    • I hear customs don't allow importing of batteries into Australia anymore. that's why the deals on the popular ZMI 10's have vanished.

I hear these batteries cant be imported into Australia anymore. that's why the deals on the popular ZMI 10's have vanished. Gearbest/LITB/Amazon US don't have the option to import the ZMI 10's to Australia anymore. I cant even try and order them anymore since it keeps coming up with a msg saying Unable to deliver to Australia on their websites.

and if my memory serves me right, I recall reading some comments on here where people ordered previously and they were held up at customs and sent back to the sender

        • Yeh i understand the no fly issue, if they ship by ground it should be fine, just take a lot longer. Dell have the same issue shipping batteries to clients. 6-8 week delay due to boat time to aus.

@beigehornet: Also not true, got mine in less than 2 weeks from Everbuying (Happy to provide proof for non-believers)

        • @PAOK11:can you provide a link so I can but one?

        • @PAOK11: that's not everbuying that's ali express.

        • find it yourself god

        • @PAOK11:I would have if everbuying had it on their website. I think you proved your actually not happy to provide proof as well.

        • @PAOK11:Not even close to the same thing! Except that they are both power banks. No PD.

        • -2

@Gusper: Please use your brain Gupreet, just because your mate Pranesh says you can't get it delivered to Aus. Maybe you can find a way. Best regards

        • @PAOK11: Since you seem to know more about importing these, could you please provide your expertise on getting the xiaomi ZMI 10 that most of us would like to buy?

Here's the link from Aliexpress: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Xiaomi-ZMI-20000mAh-power-ba…

There is a stark difference when you compare apples with oranges. So I'm happy to see if you come to the table with apples instead of oranges and if you can, I will most certainly thank you for letting me grab a xiaomi zmi 10!

          Cheers

@aspirepranesh: It's not my job to locate products for you. My argument is if I listened to others on Ozbargain I wouldn't own two Xiaomi Powerbanks.

I'm not comparing apples and oranges. I'm comparing Pink ladies to Granny Smiths

        • @PAOK11: Locating the product is easy. Anyone can use google for that. I have already checked Gearbest/LITB/Amazon US/Aliexpress who have the item in stock, but dont ship to Australia. and Everybuying don't have the product that is being referred to here.

So we are just waiting on your expert knowledge to get the product to Australia, just because you have managed to bring in a different item. your argument states, just coz you got granny smiths and we should be able to get pink ladies? lol

      • You can't import the ZMI 10 because "customs don't allow importing of batteries into Australia anymore" so that's why you need to order the RAVPower battery instead?

  • I'd prefer the Crows version rather than the Port Power one.

    • which one? and why?

    • +1

      I enjoyed your comment.

  • Does the battery itself charge quickly as well?!

    • Reviews say that this charges in 4-5 hours with a usb c 30W charger! I had someone who had purchased this a while ago here, maybe someone can confirm this.

      • I have one and can confirm it charges really really quickly

Note that despite Cygnett's smaller capacity, Cygnett Chargeup Pro has 45W output which makes it powerful enough to charge laptops with USB C charging ports (granted they have 45W input).

    • +1

Ah yes! I forgot that completely. I have added that to the description so people can decide for themselves. Thanks

      • I have both the Cygnett and RAVPower and they both weigh similarly but the RAVPower also contains around 20Wh more power but charges slower, which is why I carry the RAVPower as my main for the X1C gen 6.

The Cygnett looks marginally better IMHO though ;) It's thinner but wider.

  • Weight?

    • Approx 450g, it's a big heavy beast.

  • Very tempted… I like RAVPower gear. It just a bit to expensive compared to previous ZMI deals.
My biggest concern would be weather this would brick the Nintendo Switch or not

    • Amazon reviews state the switch charges work, but people seem to recommend a good usb a to usb c cable proven to support charging switch.

Might be worth reading more of the amazon reviews.

    • ? Both of these have USB-C ports on them.

      • Both zmi 10 and the ravpower here have usb c input/output. But the ravpower doesn't support qc

        • You don't want QC for use with a Switch.

      • The switch seems to use a weird ‘type’ of USB-C voltages/negotiations which has resolute in some third party USB-C chargers bricking the system. Using USB-A to USB-C limits the device to 5V 2.X A so it is probably safer.

        • Wow how ridiculous for such a big company to go off the rails so much on USB-C.
If it does this on C-C I would think you would even more so want a properly certified A-C cable, otherwise I don't think it would be safe at all…

I have one, awesome power bank. Charges everything I have including type-c MacBook Pro, HP Folio, Dell. Fast charges iPad Pro and Galaxy S9+. Just but one…

    • -1

      just but one ?

      Nah im good

  • 26800mAh @ 5V with just 8 cells?

    • 3.7v nominal voltage, obviously.

    • 26800mAh @ 3.7v. They're 3350mAh cells, I assume LG F1L.
