Awesome :) Will go well with my amex welcome $10 off offer!

    • +2

      Lucky you ;)

    • Afaik that amex offer is only in store.. Not incl online?

Edit: ignore. Just checked its incl online

Can u pay $30 using amex then $20 using gift card and still get rebate $10 from amex? Logically should be ok right?

  • So am I right that $200 GC will cost $190 and then use that and get $26 cashback so $200 groceries = $164 out of pocket?

    • +3

      Even better:

      • Buy a $100 WISH eGift Card for $95
      • Purchase exactly $100 of groceries and get $26 back
      • End cost = $95 - $26 = $69 ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

That's a saving of 31% on the original price of the groceries.

      • except I spend 200+ per week on groceries….

        • +1

not sure but I believe 2 transactions worth $100 each (or 3 with 2 transactions at $50 each) will give you best bang for the buck. is it possible to get $26 off 100 in the first transaction then $6 off the next one/s? :)

        • @sigplay:

          Probably… but that's a right royal PITA

Beware with Cashrewards. I made a purchase on Woolworths online through Cashrewards and as a new customer expected to receive $20 back in March but it got declined and Cashrewards asked me to send my driving license, bank statement and Woolworths invoice to them and I did. But they came back and said that they need more personal details on the invoice but I sent them the original Woolworths invoice that I received which Woolworths didn't include my name or address on it. So beware with this Cashrewards is a pain now for any rewards over $10 they try to get your personal information and delays as long as they can. Not even sure if I will get my rewards now.

Hi SR9. What you're saying is not correct. The only reason we asked for ID was to confirm the CR account belonged to you after it was flagged as suspicious and possibly doing something against our terms & conditions (gaming the system etc). I've commented numerous times across different posts regarding this issue, including here. If you're a genuine member, you'll get your rewards. Feel free to PM me if you need me to investigate your account personally. Thank you.

      • -4

Hi Tightarse! I have sent my driving license and Woolworths invoice to Cashrewards what else do you need to verify my identity?

    • +1

Not sure if this is related but when I first used cashrewards at Sephora I expected to get back something like 8% back as that's what they advertised for first time shoppers. Turns out because I had made an online purchase at Sephora without using cashrewards previously and had an active account it didn't count for the first time offer and I only got something like 3%. Wouldn't be surprised if woolworths bonus has the same conditions and it has to be a brand new account. Might explain why they want your details to look in WW system to see if you had previous orders for that address under a different account.

For whatever reason, I've never received the cashback for Woolworths. No problems with other stores.

  • What is " New Woolworths Shoppers" ?

Is it for people who've never shopped at Woolworths or never shopped online at Woolworths?

    • +2

Those who have never shopped at Woolworths Online.

  • Any avaliable code that can stack with this cashback?

    • +2

Rewards are NOT payable when using any coupon code/s not listed on Cashrewards.

Negative, there are no codes listed on Cashrewards.

Still waiting on my cashback from a similar promotion 5 months ago…

  • I have a "gift card" that I received from Woolworths due to an out of stock item on a previous order. I believe I have to enter this number in the promotion field rather than in the gift card field. Would this be classified as an unlisted coupon code as I am entering it in the promotion box? I would be a returning customer. Thanks.

    • +2

Hi 17833. This should be ok, but if you have issues, you know where to find me :)

  • -1

Not just "new" Woolworths shopper, but never received any cashback for Woolworths on your Cashrewards account before.

    • +1

Hi singingwolf. Your Cashrewards account is allowed to receive 1x new customer cashback, and obviously unlimited return customer cashbacks. Thanks.

      • Does this mean that if I've shopped at Woolworths online but didn't get cash rewards before, I'm a new customer?

        • +3

Didn't say that lol. Whether you're a new or return customer is determined by Woolworths, not Cashrewards. We can only add to your account whatever rate they report back to us. Hope this makes sense :)

        • +1

@tightarse: Thanks for clearing that up

  • NOW you tell me😀
Ordered $50+ online this morning & missed out on the $6😱
Lucky I was getting 3000 bonus points & using $20 Rewards points.

    • It gets even worse, you missed out on this.

      • Already used old code this year on multiple accounts😀

        • That one's a new code :)

        • +1

          @headphonejack:
Yes, could have used this code. Will use new code & this offer next orders as 1000/2000/3000pt offers arrive weekly👍

        • @Infidel: I never receive such good offers. What's your secret?

        • +4

          @headphonejack:
Multiple accounts using each card infrequently. I tease Woolies into good offers.

Can pad orders out with out of stock items if still on their system. Ordered 2 x $10 window washers to pad out a $40 order for 2000pts last week & got the $20 back as code - to reduce today's $50 order.

BRB creating a heap of click & collect orders

  • +2

Just make sure your purchase is $50 excluding GST. I got pinged on this last time around. My purchase was $50.70 including GST.

    • Seems you're correct and appears the terms are the same as my previous deal.
OP updated to reflect. Thank you.

    • That really is dodgy as, especially as various WW products will or won't have the GST applied. There's no doubt that will catch out a few punters. If WW are that worried, they should just set the minimums at $55/$110 and forget about the GST component.

  • just wondering…if 2 click and collect orders are made for pickups say 1 hour apart…is it accepted as two different $6 discounts??

    • +1

Good question Barbarella, I was curious about this too…

      • maybe tightarse can answer this???

    • +1

Multiple orders should be fine. Refer to this comment from a previous deal.

      • +1

ok so maybe the further apart orders are spaced the more likely to succeed…hmmmm…if only I lived around the corner from a store :/

        • +1

Placing multiple orders to collect at the same time should not make any difference.

          They’re still considered separate orders.

  • good deal

  • +2

Do I have to spend at least $55 including GST?

  • Does New Woolworths Online Shoppers refer to wws account with no order history or people who never used cashbacks on wws online?

    • +1

Hi Zengineer. Please refer to my comment here.

  • Hi (store Rep) Tightarse: here's a question Last time Woolworths did this for the $20 new customer cashrewards I used it got the $20 pending in my account it sat there for a while few weeks then I was just looking at my cashrewards account and noticed it gone no reason why can't get anyone to answer my emails on why this was given then taken pretty rude so… If any one does take advantage of this beware Indian givers….

    • +1

Hi rangi. We're definitely not Indian givers (don't understand why the attack). I find it impossible to believe that your query wasn't responded to, but happy to check and report back immediately if you'd be kind enough to PM me your CR email address. Thank you.

  • can i buy alcohol and get cash reward of $26?

    Or alcohol is not eligible?

  • Grrr…I just had $20 worth of my shop listed as out of stock and my total revised. Is the cashback still applicable now, or has Woolies screwed me on this one?

My order is now only worth $35, and instead of cash in the bank I have a $20 "credit" to use on my next online shop. Very annoying.

    • +1

It shouldn't matter, it's not your fault the items were out of stock.

I've had a similar experience where my order fell below the minimum spend threshold and the cashback came through no worries at all.

Also refer to this comment from a previous deal.

    • +3

Hi franky. If you made payment for the full order, and your sale tracked successfully, you should be fine. If it gets declined down the track, please open a support ticket and we'll go it to bat for you.

      • +1

Thanks Tightarse, I will try to keep an eye on it.

    • Can't comment on the cashback part, but agree 100% that this "credit" is a pain up the @rse.

I recently had a similar issue where I made a purchase (with discounted eGift card obviously) and the item was out of stock. My gift card that I could use in store or online got "converted" to this credit that I could then only use online. Should have come back to me in the same form (eGift card) as I gave them.

      • +3

I also agree that this is a frustration. You can however request that the store credit be converted to an eGift card and they will be happy to oblige, providing the credit is for $5 or more.

If it's under $5, they won't be able to convert it - I know from experience.

        • +2

Yeah, I know, but the point is it shouldn't be up to the customer to go to additional effort to be restored to their original position.

I'm becoming more and more sensitive to organisations that operate with the sense of entitlement that they can place additional restrictions on me (when caused by their inability to supply a product/service) and then it's up to me to restore myself to my original position.

        • +1

@Seraphin7: I completely agree, unfortunately the situation is out of our control.

        • +1

@headphonejack: Thanks Jack. The information about converting to a voucher is valuable- although I've been advised that this can take several days. I ended up going into my local Woolies to pick up my delivery, and they were willing to supply a more expensive equivalent item for the same price as my original purchase (as per their policy), so I do now have the items I needed.

Unfortunately though they still owe me $20, and I've had to go to alot of effort to get the substitution that I should have gotten in the first place. I agree with you 100% @Seraphin7, that it leaves me in the position where I now have to continue to shop with them in order to recoup my money. The kicker is that this order wasn't actually for my own shopping, it was for a charity collection (mostly items that will be donated). A voucher in a small amount that I could use to purchase donatable items would have been much appreciated here!

  • Was this only for one day or continuing?

    • The increased cashback offer expired on 19 April.

      • Missed it😭

  • Check your approved cashback amounts. My cashback was approved for $1 instead of $6.
This was quickly remedied by Cashrewards once I complained.
