  • The conditions state "Rewards are not payable on the purchase of Woolworths Gift/eGift Cards."

Are Google play store card considered eGift cards???

    • +1

      Yes

    • +7

You can't buy gift cards online either way.

    • Oh… :(

  • +1

I always buy the wish gift cards through cashrewards for the 5% off.. Does this mean I could also be getting cash back by clicking through to Woolies online when doing our weekly shop and using the gift card as payment?

    • +6

Yes as per Cashrewards page, "Pre-purchase WISH Gift Cards at a 5% discount and use them in conjunction with Woolworths Online Shop cashback to save even more."

      • +4

Yeah.. I just saw that.. Wow, I must be new here.. Thanks for the reply

        • +2

          Hi newbie

        • +2

          welcome to ozbargain!

        • +1

Newbies need to provide weekly report of how much the saved through bargains :p

        • +1

Ok.. Should clarify - not actually new. Just feels like it when I didn't know about this. Thanks for the welcomes though :)

  • So 16 percent of woolies

    • +1

Pay by eCard, effectively 20% off.It is better discount than eBay voucher.

    • +2

      why 16%?

      $50 giftcard with 5% off = $47.5

Spend $50 in Woolis online and get $8 back so [50-(47.5-8)]/50 = 21% off

      • +1

I think you need to spend $55, not $50. It says minimum spend is $50 excluding GST

        • Really good pick!!! I missed this and usually aim for minimum spend for these types of deals

        • +1

Since it's groceries, not all items will carry GST (fresh food, baby formula, etc) so even $50 can do it

$55 if you wanna be safe

  • +1

    Thanks OP!

I reckon "online" should be somewhere in the title. It took me a minute to figure out what's going on here!

Special Offer Terms - Repeat shopper spend must be $50 excluding GST & discounts

    • Thanks, I'll add that to the description.

    • Damn! Got caught out by this. My order was $50.40!!!

      • I think your fine, the actual offer is spend $50+. You have met the requirements
The GST is taken from the Cashrewards conditions…. it implies for some cashbacks you only get the cashback based on the GST exclusive price. In this case it is a straight out $8. For MenuLog as an example, spent $52 but only for a $4.70 cashback or similar

    • +1

The next question is, are we able to get more than one $8 cashback with additional orders meeting the requirements?

Any bonus will makes the cat food real cheap! https://www.woolworths.com.au/shop/productdetails/53224/whis…
btw - I love the cat, but hate that it costs so much to feed compared to the dogs :).

      • +2

        Multiple orders should be fine.
See my comment from the previous deal.

        • +1

          thanks

Ordered today and already received notification of the increased cashback of $8.. Awesome!

Of course. Loyal shoppers get a kick in the nuts.

You can always shop at Coles. With no cashback rewards and no eGift cards accepted.

      • Nah Coles doesn't have the same stuff that woolies does. I like the free fruit they offer in the kids baskets

  • just made an order yesterday, paid by rewards dollars and gift card, if I cancel it now would the rewards dollars be refunded to my rewards card?

    • They may not be refundable so probably not worth the risk.

    • If you place an order with an egift card and something is out of stock they give you a voucher for that amount so they will possibly do the same thing.

    • called and they granted two vouchers, one for rewards dollars, the other for gift card.

Did anyone order exactly $50 and not get tracking confirmation?

Bit worried about the GSt thing

    • +1

No tracking on a bigger order as yet….thats normal though

      • +1

Got confirmation after 3 hours, nice

  • Great news, finally getting something as a existing customer

  • +2

Put an order through its been 2 hours still nothing showing on cashrewards. Ugh, never had a problem before in 100+ purchases hope it didnt stuff up.

  • so, no one's going to take into account delivery cost of $11?
or is there a way around that besides pick up?

If you choose to pick up, are the items bagged and ready at the counter?
    they check ID?

    • items are all bagged and you just need to wait a few minutes, the staff will take all bagged items for you.
And, they do check ID, and a photo of your ID doesn't work now.

    • Depends on the store. Some just check the order number & don’t require ID.

  • what happens if you get refunded at store due to no stock. Do you loose $8 if purchase cost falls below $50?

    • +2

My order fell below $50 last time due to an out of stock item, and the cashrewards cashback went through without any problems. I don't think it matters.

      • Thanks good to know mate. I picked up today and as usual few items were out of stock.
It would be great if Technology can allow stores to calculate local store stocks.

  • The cashrewards site says it'll expire on 11/Feb 11:59, not tonight.

    • i just clicked and theres no lunar offer that I can see on Rewards….
      Am I doing something wrong?

      • It finished last night. I think niknah might have been looking at the free delivery for new customer offer….

        • Thank you. appreciate that.

  • Anyone else still waiting for tracking on CR?

    • +1

      No

    • I am… worried that they didn't track my purchase. are you waiting as well?

      • Send TA a pm, I'm sure he will be happy to check for you.

      • +1

Yeah I am still waiting for tracking, you can log a ticket via the my click history page after a week or so. CR have always sorted it out for me.
