14

I found this site that is giving away a Iphone to the lowest unique bidder.

bids are only $2, and there is no hidden costs or scams.

  • Should this even be considered as a 'deal'? It's not like you're guaranteed to be able to purchase a product and it's almost akin to gambling without needing to get the relevant licences.

    • i only did it because i no someone who won. she got one for only $3.27 (i think thats a deal)

  • Unique bid auctions — not a bargain.

They're making profit not giving away.
The chance is pretty hard, 1 in 500 maybe? These auction style make no loss.

    • every site on hear that says SPECIAL is still making a profit. thats what businesses do, aim to make no loss.

and they are giving it to the person with the lowest bid.

  • Is that Catherine your friend? That TV gadgets show (on channel 10?) are doing this bidding competition every week. It's still a competition, not a bargain because not everyone wins.

    • yeah. she is.

    • No it is not a competition where people are free to entry (like what a real auction is). You actually have to pay to enter into the competition — they call it gambling.

      • Gambling.

  • Do I even need to comment on why I'm giving it a negative vote?
