    The most unnecessary item ever

    • So what are you going to use when single use bags are no longer supplied at the checkout? I am interested in finding cheap and free alternatives.

      • No matter how good your intentions are, you'll end up paying 10 cents per bag for the replacement bags shops will start offering.

Source: I'm in South Australia and we've had this ban for years now.

    • May I ask why? With the phasing out of single use plastic bags by supermarkets, this is not too bad an idea. I'm sick of individual multi-use shopping bags flying around the boot of our car. These seem practical and neat.

Price wise expensive, if you are in Melbourne there is a mob in Dandenong selling them for $20- advertises on Gumtree.

      • i'm a guy shopping bags in my boot don't bother me

$35 for 4 colored bags. Ridiculous.
just get 4 Green bags from coles or woolies for $0.99 and they'll last you 6 years. And as a bonus you wont look like a goose carrying multi colored bags.
Even the LTGBI would roll their eyes on this.

    • Very fair comments that would stand well without the final slur.

      • fair comment. edit: retracted.

  • Are these made of cotton and wood? Or foil and plastic?

It's more eco-friendly than disposable bags, but it's still hardly eco-friendly.

  • We recommend that you use the largest bag (orange) for your lightest items such as toilet paper or cereal so it isn't too heavy to lift when full.

BAGS for TOILET PAPER ???!! Carry them !!

oh… next they'll be 'removing' the plastic wrapping around toilet papers and cereals, and you'll have to just pick them up one by one and load them into your trolley or bucket. "who needs plastic or cardboard ?"

THIS WHOLE ANTI-PLASTIC BAG DEMANDS are ridiculous - watch the amount of take-away paper and plastics that are thrown out.

A bit pricey considering they cost 99 cents at woolies who will probably replace them if they break.

  • Single-use plastic bags is a bit of a misnomer…

  • No deal

  • $29,99 at Catch of the Day with free delivery

    • bargain

    • Second look, these seem to be smaller bags, largest is only 32cm deep so prob meant for the smaller trolley
