Wacom Intuos Art Graphics Tablet $70 @ Officeworks (Limited Stock / Clearance), in-Store

160

Looks like Officeworks is clearing out some of their Wacom Intuos graphics tablet stock.

Intuos Art or Intuous Comic - $70 (same tablet, different bundled software) Normally retails for ~$125
Intuos Photo - $80 (same as above, with different bundled software) Normally retails for ~$145
Intuos 3D - $125 (larger tablet) Normally retails for $250-$300

Very limited stock. I got the last Intuos 3D in store. Not all models are showing on the website, but some are there (marked as in store only) with the discounted price, so I expect the clearance to be across all stores that have stock.

If you have Windows 10, after installing the Wacom drivers from the Wacom website, run Windows update and install KB4089848 which fixes an issue introduced with the Creators Update that makes the pen scroll when drawing vertically, instead of drawing. You can also grab the update directly from http://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/Search.aspx?q=KB4093…

  • 1 Left at officeworks northmead, reserved 1 for myself. Thanks OP

  • No sales on the pro versions unfortunately.

  • Thanks OP for the informative post!

  • Before buying remember to check the due date for the software offer.

  • What are some good uses for these drawing tablets? I feel one could go down a rabbit hole getting into using these…

      Digital art.

I agree about the rabbit hole. I started with one of these. Worked my way up to a Wacom Cintiq 22HD (RRP of $2,699.00)

I use mine for both art, and annotating study material when I'm using my 27" monitor on my home desktop. Extremely useful (OneNote actually recognises handwritten letters when using its search function!).

For portable annotating and drawing I just use a surface pro.

  • Have been looking at getting one of these for a while now for my daughter. Happened to find one (intuos 3d) at Pitt St branch. Had to ask as it wasn't on display but they had one. Thanks OP!

  • Two new Intuos 3D tablets left at Wetherill Park NSW at Friday 6pm. OW computer may say one or none left, but call the store to check and reserve it.

Don't forget to see if the Wacom Wireless Accessory Kit is available. It converts the USB tablet into a wireless tablet. Clearance price $20. None left at Wetherill Park after I bought the last kit.

  • No 3D's in Brisbane. There's a couple of Photo's at Aspley.

  • Thanks OP. Got the last Intuos 3D at Northmead for $80. It was sitting on the shelf with an $80 price tag for the Intuos Photo. Didn't take much prodding as it also has a damaged box and was marked as previously opened.

I've started Uni this year and just realised I'm going through way too much paper. Keen to see this in action.
