30 Seconds to Mars: This Is War $5 Myer Maroochydore

260

WOOT! This is for all the people who like 30 Seconds To Mars. 'This is war', with chart topping hits such as, 'Hurricane' and 'Closer to the edge'…which, ironically, you will only push your credit card ever so slightly closer to the edge. Because it's $5 at Myer, Maroochydore! Price can vary between $15-30 at regular stores, I picked this up on 'special' at JB a little while ago for $12. But this is only $5, I would of bought a few copies…but then realised I didn't have any friends to give it to :( I don't mean that I have friends that wouldn't enjoy it, I just simply don't have any friends :(

But seeing it for $5 made me a little happier…

This is probably available at alot of other Myer's, but I can only get to Maroochydore

  • It is a great album. Great price.

  • Your description made me laugh and cry at the same time…
I like some of these guys songs, and I am trying to build my CD collection… hmm! My local Myer doesn't have a electronics section though >_>

Terrible album - great price for a shiny coaster!

    • To each their own.

    • It also makes a great listening cd, if your game enough to put it into your player :)

Where did all those old AOL cd's go…they used to make the absolute best coasters. Now I'm left using backstreet boys cd's…

It's good to see people are still buying albums to support the artists and the recording industry.

When they are good value I will, the worst thing is when you pay $30 for a cd and then find only two good tracks on it…the last cd that got some full priced loving from me was Eminem…

I'd rather pirate the lot then just pay for the tracks I like. That way I'm only out $4 instead of $30.

I wonder who 'negged' me for saying I'd rather pay for only the good tracks and not all the other crap that goes with it on an album. Whoever did, can you please PM me your address, I'll send you a steaming pile of crap in exchange for $30. Since that's what you think should be done with artists!

  • Also saw Human Nature CDs at Rundle Mall City for $4 & $5.

I can confirm this (@ Myer Eastland), I got it for $4.50 with my staff discount! Phenomenal bargain!

Myer should be boycotted. They are part of the Alliance of rip off retailers trying to get more tax applied to personal imports from overseas. They want to protect massive margins and keep Australia as one of the most expensive places to buy products. Do not support this rotten business.

Cost on a CD is about $12 most of the time, unless its some weird promo CD. So to hurt Myer most, I would be buying as many as I could.

      • haha

I got a feeling that whoever can't understand a single bit of words in the description would not need to be bothered to actually find out what this is all about.

    • This is part of the attraction, most people go, 30STM, WTF? Where as people who know what 30STM is love it! This is a cult…isn't it?

  • Oh gosh! still love nsync

Bugger, bought mine at Sanity a few days ago for $22, although it was worth every penny!
