Swann Smart Security 1080p Camera. There has been a price drop from several retailers past couple days it seems. Not sure if their comparable to the newer Alro 2.

Harvey now the cheapest at $186.90 (you guys are currently in front).
Officeworks $188 (wake up guys your going to get hammered).
Bunnings $187 (your fate is sealed price match and beat it 10%).
JB Hi-Fi $269 (drop the 2 in front and replace it with a 1 you have my business).

btw Harvey I see what you did there 😜.

Can someone who have these camera provide pros and cons was thinking about getting a few at this price from JB hi-fi 😜.

    Is your camera placed in a high traffic area? Don’t think Swann would sell a wireless camera which would require weekly charging could it be that wifi signal weak, high traffic area, resolution, sensitivity? Had high hopes for this product for dyi applications.

      It's worse than what you could think of, set everything to low and it can only last 2 weeks indoor when everyone's on holiday, and did not pick up when someone come in for inspection, no notification except "low battery". Wifi? 10M no wall with netgear R8500.

    I'm with you on this one. Battery life is terrible if in a high traffic area. If the cameras live their life in standby mode you will get a month. My biggest issue is not having control of active hours, they are always on. Surely Swann can add in controls to switch on/off active hours for the cameras.

    Worked for them, long long ago. Most products were just Chinese, re-badged / re-branded, with different firmware, if that.

  I've got one of these and they are decent. Good quality video even on medium quality. Battery lasts about a month and connects easily through a concrete floor
