Echo 2nd Generation ($119) and Echo Plus with Philips Hue Bulb ($179) at Myer

If you are desperate to get Amazon Echo (2nd Generation) or Echo Plus, you can get them now at Myer, Cheaper than current Amazon's prices. Echo Dot is a bit dearer than Amazon though and Myer wouldn't budge to price match as Amazon is online store.

just picked up my 2nd echo show for $170 on gumtree on the weekend.

    • I guess the seller is pocketing about $40, if they bought it from 25% Amazon Echo sale + $20 Amazon20.

      • Not really, the amazon show goes for $229 usd , it’s not on .com.au yet

        • Oops, sorry, mistakenly thought Echo Spot. Good bargain though

  • hey wait, if myer are selling it does it mean that we can register Australian home addresses and timezones to our Alexas? It's super frustrating not be able to ask the time or local weather.

    • +1

Yup, it's been working since the Australian launch in January.

      • WOW THANKS!!! honestly didn't know that.

    • I have Echo Plus bought from Amazon and working as per local time. If you bought it from overseas, I doubt it will work for local news etc. Echo Show is not available as yet in Australia. By the way, you can price beat at OW to get cheaper though.

      • It works in Australia fine as you can enter your local address you just can’t change the voice to australia
