Having originally bought this game as a gift for a friend, I've thought about buying my own but never quite pulled the trigger. I've never really seen it on sale before, it's always been $59.95. They've now got a 30% off Mother's Day promo along with free Express Shipping (normally it's free standard shipping).

The story goes that KLOP (or Molkky as its originally known) was invented by Finnish lumberjacks as a way to break the silence of the forest.

  Yes, mölkky is addictive. Best played with friends over a couple of beers at a summer cottage. Saw Finska at a uni shop one day and had a laugh.

  And disappointed in this one. Turned up today. Blocks are smaller than the Finska and cheaper made so guessing that is why they had it on special. I think the Finska are Birch. I think they are fatter and higher. These appear to just be some cheap pine. Pay the extra and get the Finska ones you will be happier with them.
