Downside of having a business in Tassie I suppose. Shipping rates across Bass Strait are very high.
plus $50 delivery in the Hobart cbd - seems walking in Hobart is expensive too.
In their defence, that is the cost of their in house delivery service for large items such as furniture or whitegoods.

Coogans are a Tasmanian chain of department stores. Their business model seems to be centred around the finance that they provide to customers.

I bought a couch in a bit of a hurry on finance in mid 2015. Initially was glad to be buying locally and loved the colour and style. Unfortunately the devil is in the details. On finance we have paid double what the item is worth in the store (approx $6000 for a corner couch).

There's a good chance that if this particular store's prices with 10% off don't even come close to the normal prices of other retailers that are easy to find, that its not a deal and not worth posting.
