The Celestron 4SE computer telescope is currently 50% off at the moment, you can buy this in The United States from $300-500 USD + $200 shipping normally which makes this a great deal for a powerful telescope, also great for beginners.

They have click and collect or $15 delivery.

I suggest purchasing Barlow 3x and 4mm-25 zom eye peice to get the most out of this unit as you can see things like Jupiter and the red spot at a good clear sky.

Spoke with one of the shops and was told they were over stocked and needed to clear them out for new models arriving, the packing box is huge.

Not sure when this offer ends.

    Great, Thank, Been using the Skywatcher Dobsonian 130mm for a few years and it was great. The only hassle is that focusing on things like Saturn is a real pain as it moves through the visual field in about 10 seconds.

    This looks like a nice step up. And price while expensive (about $200 more than what I paid for the Skywatcher) its got good reviews.

    Received mine yesterday. Isn't a bad little scope. Even with some cloud about was able to see Jupiter and the 4 visible moons easily and clearly. Also managed to manually spot the globular cluster Omega Centauri before the cloud moved in and ruined the night. Couldn't try the auto align unfortunately, but hopefully I'll get some clear skies soon.

    Just a word of warning to those that haven’t received their order. The communication after ordering wasn’t great so I followed up and confirmed tracking. The additional eye pieces turned up today minus the telescope. Followed up again and was told the telescope was cancelled and I will get a refund. Anyone need eye pieces…. Not impressed.

    Not happy Australian Geographic store. Two days into the order I get a call from the Highpoint store trying to sell me a different Telescope for cheaper. When I told them I want the item that I ordered, they said it will be shipped in a couple of days. A week later I called them up to find out where my order is at and I was told that they have run out stock and waiting for more stock to come through. Almost a month after the order, I get an email saying the order has been cancelled and I will get a refund. Not happy at all.
