        Previous model had the concealed mic too, I never had any complaints using it in Destiny 1/2.

        My original GOLD is still going strong. My only complaint is the the pleather is degrading now. Anyway, mic quality has been quite good actually. No one I've played with has mentioned anything bad about it at all.

  Sony wouldn’t make a sale if PS4/Android TV allows other BT headphones. I am annoyed that I couldn’t use my QC35 via BT.

    You can't use it via BT, but you can plug the audio cable into your controller from your QC35's and use them :) Obviously not fully BT, but still a decent feature.

        I've used phone pack-ins with my DS4s many times now. The mics on the little earbuds have always worked just fine. Do the QC35s have a special way of interfacing with phones if using a cable?

        @tebbybabes: yeah both ears have speakers for the noise cancelling that double for voice which is only via BT. Plugging them in only gets audio

    It’s ridiculous, I couldn’t even use my Sony MDR-100ABN’s with my PS4.

    Just plug in to USB port on PS4 and you can use any BT headphone or headset (mic will work too).

        I know it's not cheap, but it's worth it if you already have decent BT headphones and don't want to buy a PS4 compatible pair.

        @Phade: Really torn between the Gold headset and this pricy little dongle ($30 difference)

        Many reviews on Amazon say the mic won't work with the dongle except Creative headsets.

        I recently bought Sony WH1000XM2B from the previous deal, would love it if the mic can work too…

    It won't pair with your phone like a normal bluetooth headphone.

    Not sure about the laptop if you plugin the usb dongle.

  I don't know what New Gold is like, but Old Gold was bad. Uncomfortable and didn't sound good.

  Though admittedly I am used to higher end gear.
