  • It's a pity Costco switched to Malaysian-made Pringles. It tastes nothing like the American one we used to get.

Australia is more or less an Asian country…

      • Amusingly, in Malaysia, you can buy both Malaysian and American Pringles. They probably know their own local one is inferior so both are offered for sale in larger supermarkets.

You can get both in the Philippines too. American Pringles cost about AUD$2.20 a can there.

    • Coles also sells Malaysian made Pringles.

      • Yes, all stock in Australia is from Malaysia. It was switched about two years ago. We used to get the American-made one before that.

  • If I could get 100 of the orange chupachups I would do it

You could, you have to be a bit inventive… say for eg. 10 orange chupa chups in a box. Buy 10 boxes, get all the orange ones out, put the remaining 90 in 9 other boxes and return it back to Costco.

obviously neg'd by the people who bought the ones you returned :-)

  • The dentist's bill followed probably outweighs the saving, but good deal none the less for people don't care.

Why only dentist's bill? Why not include the bill for ongoing management of diabetes and health complications due to obesity etc.

      • Medicare will pay for that. What a bargain.

        • Diabetes can, quite literally, cost you a leg.

    • this is for milk bars to sell them for $1 each (hence the bulk choccie bars/chewy/etc)
or in our case, kids parties…..other kids dental bills don't worry me.

"Idiocracy" has a wonderful sendup of Costco. Some of the stuff there is interesting but the packets are just SOOOOO big.

  • Anyone know how much the actual price is for the Ribeye beef in the catalogue?
