Tipped off by jimz666 in this post this twin pack of batteries scanned at $30 instead of the $35 as advertised on clearance. There were ~10 left at the time of purchase.
Highly likely only the Fountain Gate store, as online and another store I checked on the way to Fountain Gate still show the price as $69.

Rang bunnings hawthorn and asked for them to scan ,nit just go by shelf price …. scans as $69… they said no clearance at their store .
