  I love the idea of wireless chargin in the car, just not so sure about this mounting system. Sticking something to a new phone isnt ideal, and how good is it at holding on over bumps in the road aka flying off into the car.

  If this was a cradle type solution i think it would sell better.

    I've been using a magnet mount for about a year now on my Pixel XL, which is one of the heavier phones available. I've never had the phone fall off, even though the magnetic plate is actually inside a fairly thick rubber case.

    Magnet mounts are very convenient - just slap the phone on the holder and it stays there. No springs, no slots, no clips….and you can plug in charge cable or headphones without any issues.

        @HeXo: To be fair that's a different product you linked to. Both are wireless charging capable, but the deal here is for a magnetic mount type whereas yours is a cradle. That said I'm not saying this is a good deal, just pointing out the difference.

  I have this mount, it overheats if used for wireless charging. I wouldn't recommend it unless you mount it over air vents with air con blasting cool air over it.
