        Well payed..

        • +3

You were all played and paid well

    • Thanks, did the same with my ING card :)

Sure, I may go to the snow soon, perhaps… Hmm.. this could be $50 down the drain…

    Eitherway, got one. Thanks OP!

Wear this during winter to save on heating costs

  • +6

Iirc 3000 is not that great but better than nothing. Should be fine as long as it's not raining

    • +2

Yeah aldi ski stuff seems to be 10k rated or thereabouts

      • ^^^^^^ This at min go for 10k

    • +4

3k is basically nothing. It's ok for walking around but definitely not for ski'ing unless you never fall over, sit down in the snow, and the snow never melts. In australia, its practically useless since the ambient temperature during the day is too high.
3k is "ok" in countries like japan/europe/usa/canada but not in australia/nz where it is much hotter.

    • I agree …. i wouldn't wear 3000mm if you seriously want to spend 1 full day (7 hours) in the snow?? isn't standard 10k or 15k? compare that to Gortex at 23k or 28k? but it's cheap … and this is OZB … so with my OZB hat on, i'd say buying 3x sets at $42 and getting changed 2 times during the day would be a good compromise to spending $100 on a jackat and another $100 on a pair of pants … so a saving of $80 ($200 v $120)?? …

  • Very good price

  • Possible mistake in sizing choice puts me off somewhat. Good deal though and SD have always served me well.

    Direct Campri sizing chart FYI

  • +1

prob better off buying aldi if you plan to ski more than once..but price is great even for a winter jacket

    • -3

Why? It costs 110 dollars for a set at aldi and the quality is probably not as good as these.

      • have you looked at the specs of aldi ones? the budget crane is 10000/10000 and the more expensive Inoc is 20k/20k which is up there with the big brands costing 5x as much.

        this is rated 3k

        • +1

Sorry I'm no expert. Rarely go skiing. Probably once every 5 years or so. This'll do for that. I guess I misinterpreted your more than once comment. I'd gladly save $75

      • The INOC is good shit. It was pissing snow last time i was at thredbo, everyone's pants were completely wetted out (most pants 5k to 10k rating). Only people in my group of 10 who weren't wetted out were me ($80 20k/20k INOC pants) and my mate ($$$ 20k/20k pants)

    good deals

  • +2

Thanks. Costs over 100 bucks for a week of renting one. Love this, these actually are money saving deals because even if you go once, you make your money back and then some.

    .
Thanks save50 if not the snow then maybe trail walking but @ $41.99 it could at least inspire me to go to the snow this year !!!
only downsize is Sports Direct use the courier……Fastway :(…(their system is old fashioned & doesn't let you know before delivery day)

    • Never had an issue with delivery.
      Delivery at .99p is good

  • thanks Op - bought 6 items - cha ching

  • Would this be good enough for one time use to ski at Whistler for 1 week in December?

And would it also suit hiking use in cold and wet country?

    • I'd look for cheap second hand gear or borrow a set from a friend of a friend. Ebay has high quality gear at clearance

  • I think my toilet paper is rated 3000 :)

  • Just bear in mind that if you get the sizes wrong or don't like it, then returns will set you back $60 for a 1.6Kg package to their return address.

Received mine today. Pants were missing. Received jacket only. I will have to contact them

    • Is the jacket any good?

      • the jacket is very good and comfortable.

        • Cheers mate, ordered one.

I've received two seperate shipment emails for my order, they may send it separately for some reason… Have you received/resolved yet?

        • @dyl:

Got a $20 refund for the pants.

    • I only got the pants, blue colour. No jacket at all.

    • I am on the same boat. Only jacket no pants. Just came back to this page to make sure it should has pants when I ordered.

      What should we do?

      • there’s a form on their website you can complete for missing items

        • Filled the form. Two days still no response.

        • @gooddong: i only just got a reply last night re my missing item. this was their reply.

          "Thank you for your e-mail.
Im sorry to learn that you are disputing the delivery of an item from your order.
The system shows that all items were picked and scanned into a single parcel.
We have instigated an investigation with the warehouse and courier.
Pending this investigation, if the item is found to have been missed, would you prefer for us to forward this on or for the item to be refunded?
We look forward in hearing from you."

  • got mine today, pants and jacket - but the jacket has a security tag on it…
am happy with the gear though

mine arrived today - missing pants.

  • Mine is being delivered by WN Direct, I’ve never heard of this shipping provider before. Apprently they have attempted delivery twice and failed. Even though I’ve received several other deliveries in the same time and i live in a building with 24/7 concierge! No Australian contact details for this shipping company. Sports Direct have not offered to help. I guess ill have to do a chargeback. What a waste of time!!

    • I having the same issue, 8 delivery attempts but no card left and a couple of attempts when we would have been home. There has been no delivery attempts on the past few days so perhaps they have given up.

  • I Received $20 refund for the missing pants. I was given the option of either getting the pants reposted or the refund. I opted for the refund.

  • I got both pants and jacket delivered, pretty good for the price!

  • Its pretty bad service, asking for photo of wrong colour pants, sent two days ago still has no reply.

    • if it’s any consolation, you’re not alone.

    • Pants are pictured as blue in listing, I've still requested them to switch for black though… Even if it's another variant. Suggested maybe these.

      • i still haven’t heard back :(

        • Yeah, I got (auto?) reply asking for pictures. Sent a picture now awaiting reply again.

        • @dyl: i had to go back to the store’s site & complete the form again to get a reply. still waiting for refund.

        • @rarrrgh: I got an automatic dispatch email now saying they're sending more pants… Already have the pants, lol.

        • @dyl: you gotta laugh!

  • I got reply saying out of stock and offered 50% refund, which I refused.

    • Lucky you. I simply got an email saying I've been refunded…

I did still receive the pants and a full refund (so I'm up a set of pants), but they're blue and hideous, and I was more after the coat…
