  • Larger sizes must be laundered in washing machines with capacity greater than 17Kg.

    What? WHAT??

    • I will just ignore that, I'm sure my 7kg front loader will do the job :)

      • Yes, I would have bought the set, and I did + the deal, because it is a great price, but I don't think my 5.5kg top loader will do it.

        • my 7kg front loader does king size and queen size sets without any problems, don't think this one would be exclusion, just try to wash only quilt cover and pillow cases at the time, and the sheets separately, that might be a trick for smaller machines…

@Ametric: why quilt covers are in such a high demand but not fitted shits? I believe fitted shit is more important unless I am missing something?

        • @pal: I think most people buy fitted sheets in a plain colour or in a sheet set, while people want to change the quilt cover more often depending on the season?

        • @yida: Thanks Yida

        • +1

@pal: that is some unknown magic for me as well, all my life before moving to AU (5 years ago) I was sure that those sets coming altogether (quilt cover, pillow cases and sheets), at least this how this was sold in my hometown…

Also noticed 50% off all womens , mens ,babywear ,kidswear& home clearance stock .

  • Don't forget Shipster.

    • Just signed up - how do I use it?

Ignore me - solved. Wasn't working because my order is under $25 :)

      Thanks for the suggestion!

  • Correction - was $39 for queen bed. Not $59.

    • that was already reduced price on clearance, the full price used to be $79 or so

    • the pillow cases are included, mate, please read the description… Also these ones are cotton, whereas ones for 18 from Kmart are most-likely polyester-cotton blend

      • -2

Wouldn't Polyester be better for blankets as they trap the heat?

        • and not allowing body/skin to breathe properly? I'm pretty sure cotton is a better choice…

        • -3

@Ametric: I breath through my nose, not my skin…..

        • some people like to use their skin. it's a free world!

        • @Homr: Ladies and gentlemen - The Amazing RUBBER MAN!

      • You are right. Sorry mate I misread the description re European pillows.

I buy mine for an AirBNB so they get what they're given! This is a great price for cotton.

  • I need to spend another 50c to not incur a $3 admin fee for click and collect :(

    • I just added some socks for $2.50.

    • You might as well sign up for Shipster and spend $25 for free delivery. Also remember that you can return any items you don't like/want for a refund/exchange.

  • Got one of the Lily queen sets about a month ago and I've been happy with it

    • how much was it ?

  • hmm would the queen fit in my 5.5kg washing machine….

    • +5

She might not but Meagan certainly will.

i am very pleased that it accurately depicts the distinction between my "half" of the bed and hubbies. now he will not venture to my side because i can point out where his section finishes.

    • oh, you are a tough one!

      • happy wife = happy life

        • +1

yeah I know and following this, but some say, life is even happier without a wife…

  • how many threads is the cotton?

If i remember correctly 350+ are the good ones

    • no set standard so tc is pretty useless. there's a vid from the checkout that says to look the way it's woven and cotton i believe

      • Yep, without any standard, judging cotton bedding is near impossible. Personally, I've moved to bamboo, linen , and silk. Cotton is for suckers :-P

    • There is really no hard and fast rule about any of this.

I had an excellent Sheridan cover set. Polyester and cotton because polyester gives some rigidity and makes them last longer. The cloth was thicker than cheap brands, and it had extensive stitching compared to cheaper brands.

Then I got an embroidered ALDI set last year and they are very good too at a fraction of the Sheridan price.

The Target Egyptian cotton towels are good too.

  • The jackets are available on their ebay site also. I managed to use the PULL5 code for an additional 5% discount.

    • was trying that before posting, availability was only for delivery, wasn't click & collect option at that time…

I purchased quite a few items so got free delivery. From memory it is free over $80.
