Does use 4 x 18650 batteries, so you’ll need some of those and a charger (get a decent smart one).

Price History at C CamelCamelCamel.

  • I can't believe how much output this has (bought one in previous deal). On max output it does get warm, so haven't left it at this level for too long, so don't know how this would go for roo spotting. My only wish is that it had somewhere for a wrist strap.

  • where do I put the code I am in check out place order now but cannot see space for code cheers

    • On the page you select your payment method. At the bottom there’s spot that says Enter Promotional Code.

      • Thanks . I've only bought about 10,000 things online but for some reason I hadn't ticked use this address. Once I did the page came up with the spot for the code. Cheers

        • Yeah, happened to me a few times. They all do it differently.

        • Has This code expired?

  • Is there anyway of maybe adding some cells to the order and getting the $20 first time user discount for purchases over $80?

    • Cells? Do you mean batteries? Just don’t complete the checkout and keep shopping!

      • Yeah, I meant batteries, just realised that the Amazon20 code is only for items actually sold by Amazon, not sold on Amazon by other sellers though.

        • +2

Nah, you meant cells. Batteries are made up of individual cells. An 18650 is a cell. A car battery has 6 x 2v cells making it 12v.

          True story.

  • Thanks bought it added to the torch collection. Needed something to use my 18650s in.

  • Just bought one, thanks.
New to torches and would like help/recommendations on where to buy 18650s and which charger.
Have looked at a few but cannot figure out which would be better suited for high powered torches.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Cheers

    • If you have a look in the chargers section of this forum (yes, it is a real forum)

I’m no expert. I got a Nitecore charger. Batteries I have no idea which - brand name vs cheap generic. Other than to say I did start with generic and the buttons came off. You want the 18650’s the have buttons on top. eBay or aliexpress, that kind of source.

    • Bought these about a year ago they were $24 then on sale now about $30. Banggood was the only place I could find that would send batteries to Aus.

Fantastic company to deal with. I bought my batteries for this torch through TechAroundyou and they were able to do me a deal for multiple batteries when I messaged them with a super quick reply after the deal above ended. They also sell chargers for great prices.

  • Are we able to get another coupon for this? I wanted to buy one but procrastinated too long!
