Ozone Strike is a hilarious name.

OP, does this keyboard contain any CFCs?

    • +4

No, the ozone is just on strike.

It says Cherry MX Switches, can anyone confirm if real? $19 for legit Cherry Switches is pretty solid price

    • +2

Probably real and this keyboard is on clearance

    • if it is genuine cherry mx switches then you could probably solder them out and make some money out of them.

    • +1

Genuine cherry switches, bought mine for over $100 last year and it came with cherry brown.

    • +1

Cherry switches aren't that good these days.

      • It's true that they aren't good compared to all the clones, however they still cost more

  • +3

A million and one features but no mention of what switches it has?

    • Cherry MX

104 Keys Cherry MX Switches Mechanical Keyboard

      • +8

LOL, that's like saying a car has rubber tyres.

I wasn't having a go at you, it was aimed at the website details - I don't want a board with blue switches, whether they're Cherry MX, Kailh or any other variation.

    • +2

Black, red, blue or brown are available for this keyboard. No idea what this model has though.

    • +1

The one I bought has brown, and that seems to be the most common for these.

When I bought mine I wasn't sure what type it had and the people serving me at EB said if it wasn't the type I wanted I could return for a full refund.

    • At this price any variant is good

  • +2

Everything EB games have on special, is always our system show we have one left, but we couldn't find it anywhere.

  • +12

That person in Tasmania will like it.

    • They are the only game in Tas anyway.

  • +4

… Only available in-store at Hobart

  • [TAS ONLY]

  • Thanks OP but my 2 nearest branches deny stocking Ozone keyboards.

  • +2

Why have people post EB deals and there always 1 or none have left

    • +2

same reason some women say they will come back to my place for some drinks if i pay for dinner.
we live in hope of a better world.

  • +1

    Looks like a bargain.

I always wonder why mechanical keyboards aren't wireless. Is it because they are mostly targeting gamers and latency is a disadvantage?

    • +2

      Latency and NKRO.

    • +2

That and things like RBG LEDs which shouldn't even exist would eat up all the battery.

  • Lucky if you can find one.

  • I wonder if this is a deal, doubt there is 10 of these in stock.

    • that's generous to think more people live in TAS

  • +2

    +1 for Tas only

  • Got this keyboard as part of the sale earlier in the year. Mine has Cherry MX Brown keys. Highly unlikely you are going to find one anywhere now though, took quite a bit of ringing around back then to actually locate a store who had one.

  • If that one person in Tasmania wants to, I'm happy to pay $50 for them to buy this and ship it to me in Melbourne ($50 includes the cost of the keyboard and postage).

    • Me too, lol

      • Not sure if either of you are serious, but I can help you with this if you want.

    • Not sure if either of you are serious, but I can help you with this if you want.

      • Yes I was serious. but the deal is out of stock.

I just phoned the store in Eastlands and not only has someone already OzB'd the final unit they had, the guy was a little bit freaked out as to why I was the 4th person to either call/go into the store inquiring about this keyboard today.

We freaked out an EB Games store employee. Well done, you magnificent bastards.

    • I was there yesterday afternoon…If only I'd known

  • +2

I scored the one in Tassie, feels like Brown switches, I will have a look when I get home.

First time EB has had a sales item in stock locally that I have wanted from Oz bagain.

  • Thanks Op, the switches are brown so exactly what I was after.

  • Just walked in to local store in campbelltown and asked. 50km Radius nothing. But it's coming up on their system that it is $19. Just need to call around and hope for the best.

    • post an update if in case you find any in SA.

  • +1

If anyone bought one in SA and doesn't like it, let me know.
