    I have one. It’s a good product.

    • I agree. Only downside is it takes 9V batteries for some godforsaken reason.

      • Had mine for a couple of years and never had to change the battery . Then again it only gets used about once a fortnight .
We actually got ours free with a mixer and was really surprised at the quality of it .
Never used the timer but the thermometer is great for checking the sous vide or slow cooker temp .

The newer mods take 2x AAs now.

Sweeeettt… will put those Eneloops to use!

Guess this is not the new model then:

          Batteries: 1 x 9V battery included

        • +1

I bought one and it takes 2 x AA batteries

  • Bought one. Great for cooking baking.

A separate thermometer that can be used independently is probably more user friend than one with dangling wire.

As for timer, would happily go with a fridge magnet timer or even a phone app.

Conclusion? Just get a simple scale.

        Scroll up a bit?

I dont follow, scroll up to what?

        • @Skinnerr: I think iDroid meant this deal… Perhaps you could have clarified by asking for all three AS SEPARATE UNITS for $36.

I have this, this and this which can be had for under half the price (if you don't mind the wait from China for the thermometer and timer. Accuracy may vary though…)

Kmart also have another that uses AAA's rather than a CR2032, that said have had mine a year and a half so far and haven't had to replace battery yet, unlike our previous one that chewed through CR2032s even in standby.

    • The dangling wire connects with a headphone like jack so you connect it when you need it .

    • I am totally agree with you.
This will be a hassal taking the whole scale to the oven to check the temp of a baking product. A small separate thermometer would be better.

    • I have an Echo Dot in the kitchen so just use that to set timers now.

  • Great but beware, it beeps unnecessarily

  • This a bit steep for weighing drugs on the streets. Need something cheaper and smaller.

You must buy heavy drugs. I use scales that measure in milligrams for customer accuracy.

      • Yeah, usually iron filing. Gets you all magnetised.

  • Any coffee enthusiasts used one of these? Having the inbuilt timer is a good thing if you're doing pour overs, or aeropress etc. Not sure how the functionally of dedicated coffee scales differs from this.

    • This is exactly what I was thinking I could use this for.

Scales for dosing, timer for shot extraction. Thermometer for milk steaming.

    • I imagine you'd really be looking for accuracy to 0.1g. It actually got a cheap 0.1g one on ebay for about 15 bucks. Works great

      • With inbuilt timer?

  • Bought one, Thanks OP !

  • Only measure up to 150C with the probe :(

  • What is the diameter of the probe? Asking for a friend.
