Thought this was an ok price for 21 books from a physical store (less than $3/book).

Bought from Doncaster vic, and there were 3 left in the shelf.
Not sure what age this is recommended for, but my 8yo nephew burns through books so hope this keeps him busy for a while.

    I grew up on the Famous 5 and Hardy Boys books. It's pity kids these days prefer watching their iDevices more than letting their imagination run wild with a good book.

      I remember my mother getting cranky at me for spending too much time reading and not enough outside. Times have changed a lot.

        I remember my mother yelling at me for “wasting time” kicking a ball around outside rather than helping her milk the cows or helping Dad put up fences.

        I’m sure a few generations ago, kids were yelled at for mikling the cows instead of heading into work at the mines.

        Times do change.

    Coles have these left over from a promo, they’re behind the counter. I’ve been getting each book for $3 (not bad if you don’t need the whole set)

      sorry i didnt know that Coles sell books as well. Can you please confirm which Coles store you are talkin about and how many of these books did they have? It would be worth trying out a single book first making sure it engages your child. Cheers

      P.S: BTW, i tried searching Coles online but was unable to find any reference to these books
