Was going through the searches but could not find this piece of information. What happens if i buy some groceries using the woolworths wish egift card (digital card). And then part of the order gets refunded as they are out of stock? That happened today but i dont see the refund back on my digital gift card balance? Does it take a couple of days or is it that it gets refunded to my credit card (the card used to purchase the gift card?).
What is the new pricing policies?

I got mine around the same time as my ready-to-collect notification. Check your spam folder maybe.
i never get any emails or notifications about my orders through email, they said its a known problem, I still get the promos and typical woolworths emails but nothing to do with my online orders or invoices etc.
In that case I think its unlikely your refund will ever show up because that is how it is sent. You will need to phone them to sort it out.
You can email them and ask it to be returned as a gift card.

Yes, this is definitely possible but you might have to speak to several staff about it and give plenty of reasons why an email code isn't an acceptable form of refund for you. Good luck.
I tell them if a refund via the method I paid. I just email, no need to speak to numerous people.
I guess that means a new e gift card for the value of the refund. I don't think refunds can be made to existing gift cards.
The time I paid by physical wish card for an online order and had to get a partial refund the first person at the call centre wouldn't send a gift card in the mail and I had to go to the supervisor to plead my case. Refund on the original purchase method sounds like a good thing to suggest. I'll keep that in mind if I ever consider online shopping again.
Does anyone know if it is even legal for them to refuse to provide you with refund in a method other than your payment method?
If so, maybe when you have to speak to the staff, you can just throw the law in their face straight away and skip the reason giving.
I recently got a refund for a $1 product on a voucher with a minimum spend of $50!
Which needless to say, I am outraged about, a minimum spend that is 5000% of the voucher value is just ridiculous imho.
I got a refund code for ~$60 back in early Nov that won't be used anytime soon.
Any way to redeem it for eGift Card without going through hoops?
Called Woolworths online customer service. It's very straight forward process to convert coupon code to eGift Card
They just need to fill up the form and will take 24-48 hours for it to be processed

My refunds have come as a voucher code by email. Its pretty annoying because they impose a $30 min spend to use the voucher code.
Edit: I should clarify this is a refund for meat using their new pricing policy, but I assume it would be the same if something was out of stock.
