Where Can I Buy Ten Identical 55" Basic TV's Cheap, and NEW?

Hi All,

I need to buy ten identical, basic model (cheap) 55-inch tv's. They all have to be brand new, and the only requirement is that they need a USB port for playing movies from a USB stick, and highest resolution for cheapest price is preferable. Will ONLY be used for playing USB high definition video files in a pub. Buying ten at once, I hope to negotiate quite a bit on price. I'm in Brisbane, if that matters? Perhaps 20% off deals on Ebay??

Thanks a Lot,
UniQualz

"highest resolution for cheapest price is preferable"

Oh how I love the forums..

That's a contradicting requirement and also impossible to meet. It's either highest resolution at a given price point, or lowest price for a given resolution.

OP's requirement is like saying he needs the smallest bottle that fill the most water.

      • Haha exactly!

      • Not really - basically rank all the TVs by "pixels/dollar" and go at it….?

While I know these are NOT 55" at 49" I don't think the punters would notice the small difference . BiG W Online

Beware of commercial warranty vs consumer warranty, it might be worth paying more for a reliable brand.

    • Commercial TVs are quite a bit more expensive. Cheapest 55" I could find is around $1300+ for a Sony (KD55X7000PSDE) or LG (55UV340C). Both come with 3 year commercial warranty.

Most places that sell TVs will cut a deal for you on that number and if they don't have stock, will order it in.

  • Hijacking the pools/bingo feed for laughs :)

  • If you can make do with 40", then get over to Aldi next Wednesday ($299)- Aldi 40" TV

  • Make sure your video format is supported
