Sony US won't ship hardware to Australia but you can get the Limited Edition PS4 locally via

it annoys me that this colour scheme is not available for ps4 pro

IKR. If you're a fan of Playstation, chances are you already have a regular PS4. Would of been the perfect reason to upgrade!

This is the page for Days of Play in Australia: https://www.playstation.com/en-au/campaigns/days-of-play/
The prices are not up yet (except the new-look 500GB console which will be $439 with an extra controller), but just like the $49 controller posted earlier, I believe there will be some decent deals. Games like God of War, Shadow of the Colossus, and Gran Turismo Sport might be cheaper to pick up locally.
    I'll wait.

    • New pro or regula ps4 deals, it is not as good as last year

  • Thanks for this OP. A bit off topic but does anyone know if we can still buy US PSN credit off Amazon.com post 1st July, now that they are going to redirect all traffic to Amazon.com.au, which doesn't sell US PSN credit.

    • Don’t know but I use these guys anyway and should not be affected
Always got some coupon for $1-3 off if you register/ask, once had $15 off an $100 iTunes

    • I've been buying Wallet cards off of GreenManGaming with a VPN the last few times I needed to top up.

Would be interesting to know if Amazon has essentially cut us off from their digital market though =(

    • pcgamesupply is your friend.

IN my experience, usually Sony does similar deals at similar prices in the Aus store not long after the US store anyway.

Easier just to wait and get it on your normal account if you really really have to have that digital version.

I was excited to see the prices, bit exchange rate means it will probably be cheaper in Aus sale

    • yep

  • Ooh, I almost bought SOTC with my 20% off code that expired today, which would have been $24 USD. I will wait.

Shame I didn't end up using the 20% off code. There was nothing interesting I could find to buy that was already discounted.

God of War, although apparently a great game, must have etc, isn't quite in that single player only $ bracket for me yet. Although it is bloody tempting

    • Pull the trigger on God of War you won't regret. It is a master piece.
