Very good price once you apply that 10% coupon as it is already on special.
The 3yr warranty is a big drawcard and quality of the TV seems fine from many reviews i have read.
Great for the bedrooms, study, office, etc.

  • Or ~$403 for the 1080p version (assuming the code works).

    • +1

It's very debatable if there is any value in going up to 1080 for a 32". Reasonable deal for a lower brand than the big guns.

  • extra 75$ for 1080p defenately the go!

  • I opted to get this HD model, I couldn't possibly justify an extra $75 for full HD because it is barely discernible on a screen of this size. Besides, the highest resolution content I play is 720P xbox via HDMI and I'm not planning to get a bluray player. Still, if it makes you happy having full HD then by all means. Also, you can also snag the Sanyo 32" LED for around $420 which might be a better buy once you hit the $400+ price bracket.

  • EDIT*

  • I bought this TV a time ago and I don't recommend anyone to buy this model, the response time is too much, sometime it doesn't detect the response from remote. Also inbuilt HD tuner is not much capable enough.
works ok but u really get frustrated for the response.

    • I also purchased this TV and found it perfect, screen quality matches 1080p TV's. But obviously not as vibrant as Sony/Panasonic etc.

      • Thanks for the reassurance as I will soon be the proud owner of this set :)
Do you do much gaming? if so can you comment on the fluidity of the video and smooth picture(2 subjective but important factors)?
One more thing, does it have a swivel base?(this is unlikely but I really would like this ability to change the viewing angle)

        • no swivel base.

It connects via VGA to computer and gives great picture quality for movies. Games look reasonable, but the picture quality (colours, vibrance, contrast etc) isn't as great as a regular LCD screen.

    • weak remote sensor?
response time is only 6.5ms which is fairly decent but I don't think you are referring to this.

    • We have one - it is fine. No problem with the remote or refresh time.
