How long do these sales last ? This is perfect timing, was looking for new tvs for my parents and after some quick research found this to be one of the best within their price range.. but now it’s $500 cheaper :)

On the sign it says "EXP. 4/6/18", which I assume means it expires on the 4th of June this year.

Personally the 65inch x8500e is a better value!!!

The X9300E is miles ahead in terms of colour and panel quality. But obviously size is just as important lol

    • Im interested on 65inch x8500e, do you know where to get the best price?

      • I got mine for $1780 inc delv. But i think the sale is over.

        • I saw 65” x85 there too but didn’t take notice of price

      • I wouldn't mind knowing too, anyone recall what it was at Costco?

Sony Kiosk is offering this one for $1899 with free delivery and 2 extra years warranty. Obviously there's limited stock though because its last year's model.

        • Sony kiosk is sold out - Well at least the Parramatta one. But I'm guessing that will go for all others in Sydney too. As they must all be getting stock from the same place.

    • rtings would disagree with you but even then the price isnt amazing, at the height of liquidation late last year/early this year, this same model was going for just under $1800 from retailers that didn't require subs. But a sale is a sale and we probably won't see pricing like this again on panels of this caliber until November this year for the next product cycle, unless they are liquidating old warehouse stock or showroom stock of course lol.

I bought the the x8500e from Costco and returned it to buy the Panasonic EX780A.
x8500e is not worth the money for $1900 (Costco's price), this is bad advice.

On a side note, Costco is damn good for returns. Took about 5 minutes all up.

Why is this LED creeping into OLED price range

    • Ask Samsung the same thing, only they are higher.

  • So this will be rounded down to (the) 95 cents at the checkout?

    • Sure, just need to bring 1999.95 in cash…

God-tier TV. I'm blown away by mine damn near every time I turn it on.

      But it's not the A1

The 9300E has probably the best bang for your buck of any high-end TV currently being offered, on sale even more so, are there other tv's that are better? definitely, but do those improvements justify the drastic increase in price that they would be charging? Most would say probably not. This tv will get you almost the whole way to where you need to go without busting the bank and allow you to enjoy all the trending technologies like 4k and HDR along with everyone else on the bleeding edge (without having to worry about burn in as an added bonus), you can't really ask for more than that.

Yep… The brightest TV ever. Still is even compared with this year's models. Best HDR TV by a mile. OLED is good for blacks but everything else this TV will beat it. Brightness, Upscaling, Colour Gradient, Black Frame Insertion, Motion, plus PC input at 120fps with 1080p/1440p. If you have a tonne of HDR content this is a must buy.

  • For those considering this model, don't forget to take a look at the Sony 55" KD55A1 OLED at $1995
