    Woolcome to New Zealand

    • I think it needs more 'O's

      (I suppose not everyone got FOTC's reference…)

  • Very useful when searching roads and POIs on the terrain & hillshade

  • What did you guys put where it says 'Area'? There are spaces for suburb and city, so I have no idea what they mean by 'area'.

    • +1

State is the only thing that’s missing

    • +1

      I put Suburb, City, State.

  • Great share OP, thanks, may be I will trip one day.

  • Someone in New Zealand is waking up to a very busy day right now.

I like how on https://www.newzealand.com/int/ they have the flight times from several distant places around the globe but not Australia. It is almost like they are saying ignore Australia, don't go there. Funny buggers.

    • +1

They think we are stealing their tourists.

    • they think australia is their other state [as the opposite of nz being the 7th state of Australia :P]

    • Nah more like "there isn't enough room for our big black bubble between these two countries anyway, unless it's from Perth, and then we'd have to cover the entire east coast"

    Kia Ora

Did you mean Kia Rio or Rita Ora?

    • +1

      Auntie Ora

  • I ordered one of these a while ago for my trip next year. It arrived in the mail pretty quickly and is a decent size. Good job OP.

    • +2

      What size is it?

  • Choice bro!

  • Thanks OP and Tourism New Zealand :)

  • thanks very much, but i will go to New zealand for a trip by the group, this would help me know more about this country

  • How big is the printed one ?

    • No one seems to know, been asked a few times now.

    • +1

it is sized A1 in paper terms

  • +2

    If it's the same map I got from i-Site last Nov, it's 58cm x 84cm fully opened.

    • +3

just take a look of the pdf, it says 594mm x 841mm.

  • Has anyone received one yet?
I am waiting for about 2 weeks now…

    • Nope.

  • I got mine today, ordered like a week ago

  • I received mine today. It was sent to my address but addressed to a completely random person?

    • Oh bugger we received an A4 envelope today with someone else's name on it and we gave it back to the postie. Was yours in a white A4 envelope?

      • Yep. 'Map' was printed somewhere on the envelope in small print which was the only reason I thought to open it.

        • Oops! Hopefully the post office will re-deliver it to me. :(

  • Nothing here yet.

  • Just got 2, one I ordered and another my brother did. Was about to take them back to the post office as they weren't our names but I decided to open one and it was the maps. I'm pretty sure they belonged to OZBargainers. Do we have an Andy L** here?

Edit: A4 envelope sent from NSW for those wondering.

    • got mine under the name TIM

  • Got mine.

  • anyone know how to read the driving hour at the top right hand corner of the map ?

    • is it the section that looks like:

      auckland———-1HR———-wellington?

the time between the dots would be the travel time.

      or the other chart.

for that one as an example Auckland to gisborne is 6:00

  • i ordered one too. received it last week, again to a different person. comes from a po box at kingsgrove. it seems that the mail merge failed on them

  • Thanks OP, received the physical copy quickly, will come in handy for the trip next month!

  • I ordered two but never received any until now.

  • thanks Op
