  • For the weekend (and weeknight), this is a great alternative to parking at Darling Quarter, which is $15.50 on weekends.

Did not know that one's gone up!

I remember when Darling Quarter was first opened, and it was $5… which you gave to a guy who sat at the entrance to the carpark. I always did wonder if that guy was meant to be there or if he was just a entrepreneur…

        Ahh the good old days..

Note, you pay more during 'events'. Was caught once before they had book a bay.

What's parking like at darling square? Easy to see the entry? Modern? Or old? Can't say I've parked there before..

I was just wondering that myself.

I used the directions function on the website and it looks like a really funky loop you have to do. I'd probably stuff it up and miss it

If it's like the old Entertainment Carpark, then there were 2 or 3 entrances from memory. That was knocked down and this has been under construction for a while now, but I've no idea what they designed the replacement carpark like. You'd think they'd have kept the multiple entrances/exits though

    Book A Bay = dodgy

I had a Book A Bay booking for last Sat Night and turned up and car park was full and was told via the Intercom dude to drive to another one

Missed the start of a concert due to it

Logic suggests if I booked online beforehand there should be at least 1 spot left available for me

    • Intercom guy probably didnt know what was going on. I've turned up to the carpark with a full sign at the driveway and was still allowed in and the guy even told me which level to go to for a free spot. I spoke to a person who was around the entry and not over intercom. I think they always have a few spots free even when they say full.

      • It was chocker full as I drove in and couldn't find one empty spot (apart from a level of empty Reserved Bays)

  • Is Darling Square where the old Entertainment centre carpark used to be?

  • Where exactly is the entry?

    Night Mon - Fri $5.00
    Weekend Sat - Sun $12.00

That's for those who drive in; if you actually read the post, the $3 and $8 rates is if you book online i.e. use Book A Bay

      • I guess wanj meant that's the normal rates
