I've been eyeing off an XPS 9370 for a while and was about to pick up the Base i5 model when I realised the Base i7 model in Rose Gold had been dropped by a further ~$225 for no apparent reason. Seems to have dropped overnight so thought I'd post in case it helps anyone else.

Base i5 9370 in Silver = $1,749.01
Base i5 9370 in Rose = $1,749.01
Base i7 9370 in Silver = $2,124.00
Base i7 9370 in Rose = $1,896.82

While a good price for the XPS 13 9370 model, the 9360 model with QHD screen with touchscreen is going for slightly cheaper on Dell eBay, https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/332560069778, is also worth a consideration. Same general spec, 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD, with different port options (USB Type-A port).

The 9370 apparently has a better heating solution so throttles less and gets less hot.

It loses USB A ports in favor of 3 USB C ports, one of which will be eaten up by the charger (9360 can charge either via USB C or barrel). Battery is also 8Wh smaller on the 9370, which is significant.

There are pros and cons of both models. Camera is at least centered on the 9370.

I bought 9370 but think I prefer 9360. Though if I was buying now, I'd have gone for the new XPS 15 9570.

Yeah. I was tossing up between the 9360 and 9370 but apparently the coil whine is less noticeable on the 9370 so I went with that. Also, from memory the Dell eBay didn't have the Rose Gold w/ 8th Gen CPU?

      • Perhaps they can create a custom listing?

  • Would be great if you linked to the item instead of Dell.

    • Weird. It's not linking to the item for you? Or did you mean the image. Isn't that automatically pulled?

It's going to the item page for me when I click through the deal.

      • Sorry, I misread the deal. Thought it was through Dell eBay.

        • Nope, the Dell eBay doesn't have the 9370s. It's all 9360 there :(

  • Bought one a few weeks back. Nice machine. No concerns to date.

Too bad there's no discount on the greater spec combinations like 16GB RAM or 512/1TB SSD. Dell BTO is so weird.

why does this sound like a Rip off.
DELL is like another Apple, Razer etc. to me???
