  • Use the code 'PULL5' for a further 5% off. Final price = $24.69

You won't be able to, minimum spend is $30 for the code. The lowest price you can pay with the code is $28.50 (e.g $30*0.95).

The offer entitles you to 5% off the purchase price (excluding postage costs) when you spend $30 or more

      • buy 2

        • "Pay twice the price for a discount(!)"

        • @The Gent: Makes a great gift. Ordered 3. Cashback as well.

What's the difference between the 2 and 2i models

    • +1

      2i is Made in India
      2C is Made in China
You should either get a 2I or 2C both are same just made in different countries.
      2 is an older model.

  • The specs you posted are for the model 2 and not 2i. The new versions model number is PLM09ZM. I think a lot of those eBay sellers are either using old specs or not really selling the new model.

    • Yep you are right even though the pics show the new models.

    • The 'i' in '2i' means the model was made for the Indian market, and there appears to be two versions of this, with one being QC 2.0 and the other QC 3.0. Look out for the PLM09ZM model if you want the QC 3.0 version, which is also being sold on Banggood

      • I noticed the QC3 vs QC2 in some of the other deals when I looked at the spec but wasn't if it was my ignorance or it was old product.

They must be getting close to replacing the micro-usb with a usb-C connector by now.

Not so much for PD more for most phones are going usb-C so less cable types.

Strangely the last deal on the single USB version got me a dual-port USB version because they ran out of stock :D

  • 2i legit?

  • I have a 6000mAh one it charges up to 4000mAh, how much can this charge?

    • +1

My PLM02ZM (single USB model) is rated at 6900mAh.
If this is the PLM09ZM it's 6500mAh looking at this

    • +1

This is because the quoted capacity is at 3.7v. When charging at 5v (USB voltage) you will get around 2/3rds the power, 6000*3.7/5 = 4400mAh.

    • I have the target one, not a xiaomi. Thanks it seems working Ok then. Got it from target carlingford for $15.

  • Notes *18W charger includes DC5V/2A, 9V/2A, 12V/1.5A chargers

I think 5V/2A gives you 10W. Update your Notes section?

  • ordered 3 because…

  • Cheeky buggers increased to $26.99 for me, the other link in description is cheaper now but I didn't notice til after I bought it.

I bought a similarly priced Xiaomi Mi Power Bank 2i 10000mAh from a ebay seller v_gadgetshow (with the last week's $7 off code). (https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/323234547707?ViewItem=&item=3232…).

It appears to be a counterfeit or fake from my following observations,

It doesn't do Quick Charge my Note5 at all.(phone reports ~4hrs to fully charge with bundled cable) And also the power bank cannot be quick charged from a QC power adapter.

There is a scratch verification code but it is not verifying on http://www.mi.com/verify.
(instead,on the fake verification sticker it is mentioned as http://chaxunmi.cn)

This is from the one I got; https://www.dropbox.com/s/4e8l7rg2em903c3/20180608_144408.jp…

as per the below video even Mi power banks are also supposed to be verified at www.mi.com/verify.
    https://youtu.be/h9P4GsIKDxw?t=80

    No user manual included.

The power button is not super glossy as in the original ones.

The power bank itself was not sealed in a bag as you'd see in the above video.

There are no small MI branding on the chassis of the standard USB port (as you'd see in this video) on the power bank. https://youtu.be/h9P4GsIKDxw?t=101

So I assume most if not all these sub $30 Xiaomi Mi Power Bank 2i 10000mAh are fake one on Ebay?
    Buyers beware!

    • Yep, just got mine and I'm going to refund it because it's exactly like yours.

Anyone know where to get the cheapest legit version? Is Gearbest and better with replicas?

      • Same here…
Thanks for revealing all the info.

      • Quite annoying to get my refund, I have to go out of my way to a post office to send it back even though it's easily verifiable as a fake item.

        • You win some, you lose some..

        • Refund yet?

        • @cristtos: Yeah finally got my refund and they sent me a new one as well to try get me to remove my negative review, but it's just another fake one but this time repackaged in legit packaging.
