FYI, I think there is only 1.5 hours left on this deals. I tried it and it works. Cheers. Good to finally get 20% off everything on ebay.

7:00PM pacific time is 12PM sydney time.. So we have 87 mins left :O

  • "Only eBay users registered with an address located in the United States, Canada, Latin America or the Caribbean are eligible for the Coupon" Hmm…

      • when can we change back the address ?

straight after paid ? or wait till order shipped

    • No reason to neg this comment, it's a valid point, since you are changing your eBay account registration's address location to one that's applicable.

  • Does it work with gift cards? :D
Or can we use ebay gift cards as payment method..

    • +1

Excludes warranties and protection plans, as well as items from the Coins & Paper Money, Gift Cards & Coupons, and Real Estate categories.

Yes, to your second question if using an eBay gift card from the following regions US/CA/LATAM/Caribbean.

    • I tried it with my ebay giftcard that I bought from Woolies previously. It didn't work. It said something about the giftcard belong to ebay in another "country" and cannot be used.

      • Makes sense, thanks for confirming!
Woolies eBay would have been meant for eBay au

        • Yes, that's what I mean. Since I am shopping on ebay.com, the ebay AU giftcard didn't work.

      • I have a similar problem. I buy lots of things from the States and have it sent to my USA address.

The Aussie eBay gift cards will not work with a USA address.

So the only way is to let the seller know you want it sent to a USA address via ebay email and then have them invoice you with the Australian shipping address showing. You both agree it will be sent to a USA address even though an Australian address is showing.

You can use eBay Aus gift cards on a ebay.com however needs to have an Australian registered address and Australian shipping address when you do.

This is a bit random but I think I remember you posting a deal a few months back that was for possibly a Seiko 5, but it had style of the original Rolex Explorer with the smaller face. Think I remember it also having a thick steel band. I was really considering it around the time but forgot to get it, and I can't remember the name of it.

Do you know what watch I am talking about?

      • Good pick. Went this route and got the SARB017 for AU$500.
Glad to find it at the price after missing out on it before they were discontinued.

    • Have a look at what Ozbargainer has bought recently from ebay. This came to mind, only 2 left though.

Did you get it to work for this?

      • Did you follow the instructions in the OP? It should work fine as it's any item on ebay.com, change the URL for that product to remove the AU :)

        • Yeah I'm on US site and when in the cart it doesnt apply code. Is it because AU address?

        • @lilkid28:

It should work just by changing AU to US, I don't think any address change is required

        • @lilkid28:

Change your address registration to US

        • @lilkid28:

          Works for me

        • @urbancartel:

Hi, just put a fake US address? and then shipping address as my AU address?

        • @lilkid28:

Nah you don't need a fake address - when you go into the registration address just change the drop down country list from AU to US - i've kept all the other details the same and worked fine

        • @urbancartel: Got it thanks.

    • so max spend is $500 to get the $100 off.

  • Not working on my end, when switching from AU to US store I have to sign in.

    • Yes, you sign in again on ebay.com with your same log on from .com.au and it should work fine.

      • Tried a different account and worked no worries. Previously it was asking me to fill out an address form when trying to access the cart on the US site

  • +1

Yep..I changed the country to US. Saved. But then when I go to apply coupon it says coffee can't be applied to order. When I go back into account, it reverts back to Australia.
