      I upgraded from a 550d and last week I got an EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II USM from wife for my b’day. This hobby is getting expensive 💸

  Loved my 6D but this was such a pronounced disappointment. Even the 1-inch RX100's have as much DR at base ISO, which is utterly horrifying to me. If I pay a full-frame premium then I want something better than compact camera image quality.

  Unless you're already invested in canon lenses, the refurb D750 @ nofrills is a better buy. Almost 3 stops more dynamic range.

    The whole lens/brand system is pretty much the only thing keeping it at this price pretty much :P.
    It's a shame when the only competition the company seems to have to worry about is themselves and higher priced products. And yep I'm in that Canon world; nice lenses, but still annoying it's like this.
