      Article should be referring to US PST. I'll update the post as necessary as the date approaches, however each platform has different release schedules.

    It's very vague as to what exactly is free here.
    It is likely be episodic like other Life Is Strange games, so it's probably just the first episode free.

      From what I've gathered of Dontnod's Twitter/Announcement, it sort of serves as a bonus/prologue narrative set within the same world as Life is Strange, with easter egg or hidden ties to the sequel.

      I have no reason to believe there's any paid content here, but at the same time I wouldn't be surprised if it's as long as a single episode.

      Developer confirmed on IGN stream that this is episode one of 4 episodes planned.

    I'm kinda in the boat of 'this is not a bargain'.

    If this is a bargain, then every game demo should be posted here as that's essentially what this is alluding to being.

    Fortnite is also free, but not technically a "bargain".

    As an avid Quake fan, I am not very fond of what they've done with this game.

    By 'Free' you only get one champion and that's it.

    Its available now. Already some reviews up
    Playing PC version now. With around 1-2 hours of gameplay and makes good use of force feedback/rumble on your game controller if your using one.

    "Captain Spirit is a free demo set in the Life is Strange Universe that contains links to the brand new story & characters of Life is Strange 2".

    On the PS Store this is listed as a demo.
    Demos are always free.
    This is an announcement, not a bargain.
