I wouldn't value this at $179 when their own ebay listing is only $99 shipped. That's before any further ebay codes.
The site rules allow users to be scammed by listing made up RRP prices or prices that items never sell at. The appropriate figure would be the next best price.
The scam works because of the anchoring effect which occurs automatically and unconsciously which is why shops use it - I just don't see why it's here other than causing deals to look like better value than they would without a made up number next to the price.
I do recall getting this machine for $54 for my parents a while back. It stopped working after a year. Didn't bother to replace it as the coffee was not great, and wasnt exactly cheap.
How much is it for the 20 boxes (!) of capsules though..
