Starts Wednesday Buy $50 Google Play card and get 1,000 ponts (2,000 points needed for $10 store credit).

So buy 2 x $50 for $100, use wish cards for 5% discount = $95 and then get a $10 store credit meaning cards cost $85 for $100 credit.

Was looking for these to go on special to purchase an Optus Sport Premium subscription (for EPL) as it can now be bought/used by non optus customers.

      No, this is usable only on digital Google Play products, and subscriptions for google's entertainment (Youtube Red Premium / Music)

          Just bought one at self checkout.
          It asks for a team leader to authorize it, they do and then walk off.
          You then in your own sweet time choose payment method as e-gift card.

    According to https://play.google.com/intl/en_au/about/card-terms.html

    "Gift Card value expires 5 years following the date of (1) card issuance, or (2) last activity on Google Play stored value account into which the card is redeemed, whichever is later."

    There's a few options. Sorry can't remember them all. The optus sport app shows them. I'll be using chromecast (via smartphone) or viewing on TV via laptop browser (hdmi).

    Just remember to cancel the subscription if you don't want to continue after the 1st month!

    So I just tried to do this, but then the self-checkout locked up and I was informed by two staff members that I can't use a gift card to buy a gift card. Wouldn't let me do it. That rather sucks :(
