    I think this is a grey import and not covered locally under warranty.

    Probably better to go with DGA model, although postage brings it up to $169.85

      Yes - I noticed another site with Makita model numbers that I could not find in the Australian Makita site or retailer (Bunnings, Total Tools etc) so I assumed they were US models brought in as a grey import.

      Looks like you could save $150+ on some of the kits…. but warranty does worry me.
