  • What… This one is even better than the Lebara one if you are not making a lot international calls.

    =====================
2nd contract requirement kills this deal.

  • 20 bux for 18gb on tesltra network? 12 months contract is not bad either!

    • +1

you might want 24m contract if you think there won't be better deals within 2 years time

      • +2

        I don’t recommend that

  • 1/2 price plans only apply to a 2nd number on the same service.

  • Port out fee? Is that even legal?

    • +1

you can port out AFTER the last month of contract to avoid any fees

      • They will charge a full monthly fee for the next calendar month.

        • of course , as with any postpaid

    • Sure is. It's in the contract.

  • yeah nah, read the fine print. need another service with telechoice on a particular plan

  • +1

Also good to note that this only applies to your 2nd mobile service with Telechoice. And will not apply for anyone who wishes to recontract their 2nd mobile service. (I tried to recontract my 2nd mobile service with them to the half price deal but they said that it's only applicable if I apply for a new service)

So essentially it's pay for 1 full fee mobile service plan and get 1 @ half price (either $35 or $40 plan).

    • The recontract is a bit rough. I have 4 services on Telechoice, 2 out of contract this month! Maybe I will port out and back.

      • yeah it sure is. Porting out is the only way to keep your number.

  • 2nd contract requirement kills this deal.

  • Is this Telstra Telstra or cutdown Aldi Telstra network?

    • It's cutdown quality of Telstra network, and while you think it's alright…. got cut off while shopping in one of the supermarket in North Sydney (visited every week) and walk toward the freezer area the signal completely gone, worst than Opus or VDF…

    • Not too sure about that but I haven't had any problems with the network, I actually had loads of optus network dropouts at my old place in Blackburn, but amazing Telechoice network there.
