    Vastly Different product to what is listed here, This is a system that you leave in the food as it cooks, which then alerts you when it reaches a specified heat.

    That other product is a stab and check.

  Get the Inkbird wireless with BT and multiple probes. I have this model but this model with 2 probesfor $37.35 is good too. It takes your BBQ'ing to a new level.

  I'd recommend something with multiple probes. I have a couple of Maverick dual probe units, was hoping to replace them with a 6 probe Inkbird but was put off by the limited BT range.

    I don't know if they can go up as high as 6 but there are some good plans around for building WiFi multi-prope meat thermometers out of a ESP-8266 or similar arduino boards.
