eGlobal Central (eBay). My Experience So Far

So I bought from this deal - LG G6 H870DS 64GB Dual Sim Black (+ Extras) $419.20 (HK) @ eGlobal Central eBay

Timeline below -

10 June: Purchased
11 June: Received an ebay message acknowledging sale and stating item will be dispatched these next two days
13 June: I Sent them a message asking for update
13 June (Wednesday): Received message on same day saying it will be sent out by the end of the week (they are apparently experiencing technical difficulties)
17 June (Sunday): Sent them a message asking for update. No response.
19 June (Tuesday): Sent them a message asking for update.

Next point of call will be to send message advising I will be creating a PayPal dispute.

Googling these guys suggests they are a little dodgy. Any comments?

    19 June: Response received:
    "We are sorry to inform you that our supplier requested us to return the items back to them for quality check as they found issues with the item. They are sending the replacement to us in the beginning of this week.
    Your parcel will be dispatched by Express Shipping after we received the replacement. The delivery time will be 4-6 business days.
    We sincerely apologize for the issue and inconvenience caused. Thank you for your understanding."

    If you think they're screwing around with you and just creating excuses, then start a PayPal dispute - you'll get your money back and you can go and buy elsewhere. Hard to say much else.

    My experience was similar with them about purchasing a different phone directly from their store. Several weeks later, I cancelled the order and went elsewhere. In short, they appeared to be happy to sell me a product they did not have in stock, and could not obtain in a reasonable amount of time, and even when they knew that 2 weeks later, I was the one who had to contact them to find out what was happening.

    Money refunded. What a waste of time that was. I had the opportunity to buy the same phone from DWI but that opportunity is missed.

    Lesson Learned.
    Never buy from this place again.

    Sorry to hear about the fiasco and glad you got the refund. Eglobal suck. Next time do a search on international sellers euther here or on whirlpool.
