Errr, what's the difference between OPs TV and this TV for $20 less? They appear identical

    • I've looked at the specs listed under the two links and I can't see any difference at all. Kogan is weird!

      • Yeah.. Strange.
I can only spot one difference in URL at the end

        ku8000-b-tdsh

Not sure what does this mean

  • Pair this with a Chromecast or a Xiaomi Box and it should be a decent enough set up?

    reject samsung panel

  • Refresh Rate: 60Hz

People on here seem to complain about a low refresh rate, just wondering if it is something you can really notice?

    • I dunno whether Kogan have improved over the years. It is still in my blacklist for TVs.

Problem I had wasn't the quoted refresh rate, it was basically wrong refresh rate when watching blu ray discs. HDMI Auto was incorrectly implemented. It incorrectly let devices pick 1080p@30fps/30Hz and motion judder everywhere. If the device or blu-ray player doesn't provide a manual 1080p@25Hz, then the TV firmware tricked the device to do 30Hz but essentially the TV was doing 25Hz. It was so bad that I chucked it away.

And the so called "Samsung" panel. More like panels which failed Samsung's QA or recycled Samsung panels. The colour shift was so bad.
