  • Guys does this support chromecast or airplay?

    • +3

      Has built in Chromecast

      • How does the Chromecast work on these? Just overrides the current output whenever something is cast to it?

Also, did a quick search but can anyone confirm still can't run LibreELEC on these?

      • Thanks for the clarification. Does it do 4K like chromecast ultra?

  • is this android box capable of streaming Live channels from Hong Kong and China? Like TVB?

    • I only read up that Unblock Tech can but wanna know if this box can as well

      • unblock tech?

Reason why I ask because I'm interested in this TVB anywhere boxset which cost $320 AUD PER YEAR and you get live channels streaming from Hong Kong.

        https://www.tvbanywhere.com/package-store/australia-tv-basic…

But it's pretty much just an android box preloaded with all the softwares etc, so I just wondering if I can DIY - buy an android boxset and load the programs in myself to save $$$$$

        Thanks.

        • Can read up on them http://www.unblocktech.com/en/

But I am also looking for an alternative to this box

        • @gabswe: Ahhh yes, that's exactly what I was looking for. If anyone can share some insight on how to achieve this kind of setup from a cheaper android box is much appreciated.

          Thanks

    • Would like do know this as well. Recently gave my TV box away

  • Expedited shipping 3-7 days - is that correct?
Also, any other android boxes around that might be better?

    • "This seller is currently away, and isn't processing orders at this time. You can add this item to your watch list to purchase later."

  • Will this run the freeview app? So you can watch FTA without an antenna?

    • +1

      Dont think so. Whirlpool forum
but you can cast the individual FTA apps using your phone onto this as it has chromecast capabilities

    • For apps, There is an unofficial android tv sbs app and an official (though not officially release abc iview app that both work very well. not sure of the others stations as I don't watch them.
